The second leg of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 match between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) was held at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. The 41st game of the tournament between the teams took place on Thursday (April 25).
Royal Challengers Bengaluru finally registered their second win of the season as they defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 35 runs at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. They were sensational with bat and ball and picked up two points.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru chose to bat first at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad. They got off to a bright start with the bat thanks to Faf du Plessis (45) and Virat Kohli as the duo added 48 runs for the opening partnership.
After Faf du Plessis got out, Will Jacks (6) also lost his life and Royal Challengers Bengaluru lost two wickets. However, it was Rajat Patidar who changed the entire course of the innings with his brutal innings with the bat at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.
The young batsman played an innings of 50 runs off 20 balls. Virat Kohli also played a decent hand with 53 runs. Royal Challengers Bengaluru came under some pressure after both set batters got out. However, Cameron Green ensured that the team reached a big total.
The all-rounder played an unbeaten innings of 37 runs off 20 balls while Dinesh Karthik (11) and Swapnil Singh (12) played important innings with the bat as Royal Challengers Bengaluru posted a total of 206 runs on the board.
For Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), Jaydev Unadkat was the pick of the bowlers with his figures of 3/30. Along with him, T. Natarajan picked two wickets while skipper Pat Cummins and Mayank Markande grabbed one wicket each for the team.

Sunrisers Hyderabad did not have a good start to their innings with the bat as Travis Head (1) perished in the first over of the chase. On the other hand, Abhishek Sharma (31) continued his positive approach and played a fiery knock at the top.
However, SRH lost quick wickets after that as Aiden Markram (7) and Heinrich Klaasen (7) also returned early. RCB spinners were all over the batters and took the wickets, leaving the opponents reeling at 124/7.
Shahbaz Ahmed (40*) tried his best with the bat but RCB restricted them to 171 and won the game by 35 runs, picking up an important two points.
