LSG vs KKR: Watch – Ramandeep Singh Grabs One of the Best IPL Catches of All Time, Dismissing Arshin Kulkarni

Ramandeep Singh took one of the best catches in Indian Premier League history to dismiss Arshin Kulkarni in the ongoing match between Lucknow Super Giants and Kolkata Knight Riders at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium, Lucknow on Sunday (May 5).

The young batsman opened the innings with captain KL Rahul and started positively by hitting two fours. However, his innings ended in the second over thanks to Ramandeep Singh’s stunner. On the last ball of the over, Starc bowled a long ball and Kulkarni tried to flick it.

However, the right-handed batsman ended up caught offside. The ball seemed to land safely behind Ramandeep Singh, who was at cover. However, the KKR star had other plans. He charged at the ball and covered a good distance running back before diving for a two-handed stunner.

Speaking of the game, at the time of writing, LSG had a score of 39 to 1 in the 4th over. Rahul and Marcus Stoinis battled it out in the middle for the hosts’ lead. Earlier in the game, KKR posted a massive total of 235 for 6 in their allotted 20 overs thanks to Sunil Narine’s blistering knock.

The in-form KKR star laid the foundation for the big total by smashing 81 runs off 39 balls. Ramandeep Singh also made a big impact with the bat. With the help of one four and three sixes, he hit an unbeaten 25 runs in just six balls to help KKR post a total of over 230.

β€œIt’s a good result but to be honest I can’t tell you what a good result is in this IPL. It’s red soil, it’s a bit like Bombay, there’s a good bounce. Sunny timed them really well, my job was to pass it on to him, it was so much fun batting with him,” said Angkrish Raghuvanshi after the innings.

β€œIt was just about keeping the momentum going as we knew some big names were going to finish the game. There is absolutely no dew. Records are meant to be broken but our bowlers are in great form so I think we will win this game.” added the KKR batter who scored 32 runs.
