Even though the first awards for 2024 have already been handed out, there’s still a lot to do – with stylish red carpet looks, heartwarming (and heartbreaking) speeches and attempts at comic sketches from presenters and presenters that will cover the entire spectrum from hilarious and memorable to incredibly scary.
Following a postponement of the 2023 Emmys, this year’s awards season landscape is finally back on track after several years of pandemic-related delays and changes now settled WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikeswhich once again threw the awards calendar into disarray.
Below is your handy calendar from ET, constantly updated with all the important dates and details as we learn more about the Tony Awards, Daytime and Primetime Emmys, MTV Video Music Awards and more.
Grammy Awards
When: Sunday, February 4, 2024, 8:00 p.m. ET / 5:00 p.m. PT.
Where: Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles
How to watch: The 66th ceremony was broadcast and streamed live on CBS Paramount+
What you should know: Fans found out which artists would be in the running for the prestigious GRAMMY statues this year when the full list of nominations was announced on November 10th. SZA is the most nominated artist this year with 9 nominations, followed by Phoebe Bridgers (7), Serban Ghenea (7), Victoria Monet (7), Jack Antonoff (6), Jon Batiste (6), Boygenius (6), Brandy Clark (6), Miley Cyrus (6), Billie Eilish (6), Olivia Rodrigo (6) and Taylor Swift (6). The nominations were announced during a livestream from the GRAMMY Museum in Los Angeles, featuring Recording Academy CEO Harvey Mason Jr. and several special guests.
At the beginning of the year it was announced that the upcoming 66th GRAMMY Awards will include three new categories: Best African Musical Performance, Best Alternative Jazz Album and Best Pop Dance Recording. Additionally, the GRAMMYs are moving two categories – Producer of the Year, Non-Classical and Songwriter of the Year, Non-Classical – into the general field, allowing all GRAMMY voters to cast their votes for the categories.

BAFTA Awards
When: Sunday, February 18th
Where: Southbank Center in London, England
How to watch: The show will be streamed on BritBox International and broadcast on BBC One and iPlayer in the UK
What you should know: The nominations for the 77th Annual EE British Academy Film Awards were announced on January 18th.
Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer scored the most nominations with a whopping 13 nods, while the critically acclaimed film Poor things was just behind with 11.
Namely Greta Gerwig’s blockbuster hit Barbie Despite receiving five nominations, it was not recognized in the Best Picture or Best Director categories despite its record year.

Oscar Awards
When: Sunday, March 10, 2024, 7:00 p.m. ET and 4:00 p.m. PT
Where: Dolby Theater in Hollywood, California.
How to watch: The show will be broadcast live on ABC.
What you should know: This was announced on November 15th Jimmy Kimmel returns once again to host the Oscars, which will be his fourth time at the gig. Meanwhile, Molly McNearney – Kimmel’s wife, who acts as… Jimmy Kimmel Live Co-Head Writer – will executive produce the show. Kimmel previously hosted the ceremony in 2017, 2018 and 2023.
Nominees for this year’s show were announced on January 23rd and included some controversial decisions – as well as some shocking snubs (including Margot Robbie and Greta Gerwig being largely excluded despite Barbie’s total of eight nominations). This year’s top contenders include Barbie, Oppenheimer, Killers of the Flower Moon, Poor Things and Maestro, to name a few favorites.

NAACP Image Awards
When: Saturday, March 16, 2024 at 8pm ET/PT on BET and CBS.
Where: Los Angeles, California
How to watch: The 55th ceremony will be broadcast live on BET and CBS.
What you should know: The NAACP Image Awards Celebrate the excellence and achievements of people of color in more than 80 competition categories across film, television + streaming, music, literature and podcasts.
This year’s ceremony introduced eight new submission categories, including Outstanding Youth Performance; Outstanding Cinematography in a Motion Picture; Outstanding Short Documentary; Outstanding Original Music for TV/Film; Outstanding scripted series podcast; Excellent limited edition/short form podcast; Excellent graphic novel and outstanding stunt ensemble.
NAACP also recognized winners in non-televised categories March 12-14, which continued to be streamed the official website of the ceremony, and during the NAACP Image Awards Dinner held on Thursday, March 14, in Los Angeles.

Golden Globes
When: Sunday, January 7, 2024 from 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. ET and 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. PT
Where: The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
How to watch: The 81st Golden Globes aired live on CBS and Paramount+ with SHOWTIME and is available on the CBS app.
What you should know: The Golden Globes announced this stand-up comedian and actor in December Jo Koy would host the 81st annual ceremony!
On December 11th Cedric the Entertainer and Wilmer Valderrama were there tasked with announcing the Golden Globe nominees in all 29 categories. Notable film nominees include: Barbie, Oppenheimer, And Flower Moon Killerwith performances by May December, poor things And maestro also earn nouns. On the television side, recurring favorites include The crown, succession And Ted Lassoas well as newcomers Daisy Jones & The Six, Lessons in Chemistry And jury duty, were among the successful TV series that received recognition.
This year, the Golden Globes also introduced nominees in two new categories: Box Office and Box Office and Best Performance in Television Stand-Up Comedy.

Tony Awards

What you should know: Ariana DeBose will host the Tonys for the third time this year, celebrating the best musicals, plays and revivals.

MTV Video Music Awards
When: September 10, 2024
Where: UBS Arena in New York City
How to watch: The ceremony will be broadcast live on MTV worldwide, in more than 150 countries.
What you should know: The VMAs return to New York in 2024 and will be the first-ever awards show to be held at the new, state-of-the-art UBS Arena.
Primetime Emmy Awards
When: September 15, 2024
Where: Peacock Theater at LA Live in Los Angeles, California.
How to watch: The 76th ceremony will air live on ABC on September 15 at 8 p.m. ET.
What you should know: Delayed after the strike 2023 Emmys will be handed out in January 2024 76th Annual Emmy Awards will return to their regular fall program in September.
Nominations will be announced on July 17th.
