Popular actor Fardeen Khan, who was acclaimed for his performance in the recent series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar, has shared insights about the much-awaited sequel to the 2005 hit film No entry. Produced by Boney Kapoor and directed by Anees Bazmee, the original film featured an ensemble cast including Salman Khan, Anil Kapoor and Fardeen Khan himself. While plans for the sequel are taking shape with new faces like Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh and Arjun Kapoor joining the cast , Fardeen Khan has shared his feelings and expectations from the project.
Fardeen Khan on No Entry sequel: “It’s close to my heart, don’t screw it up”
In an interview with PTI (Press Trust of India), Fardeen reflected on the script of No entry 2 And expressed genuine excitement and described it as “absolutely hilarious”. He fondly recalled the collective efforts of the original team and highlighted the dedication of Salman Khan, Boney Kapoor and Anees Bazmee, who contributed to the success of the first installment. Although Fardeen Khan was not involved in the sequel, he emphasized his emotional attachment to the franchise and remarked, “It is a film that is close to my heart,” underscoring the project’s importance to him personally.
While Fardeen Khan expressed his nostalgia over his involvement in the original film, he extended his best wishes to the team behind the sequel. Offering words of encouragement, he said: “I have nothing but love for Anees and Boney and my best wishes for the sequel. I would just say, ‘Don’t mess it up’.”
As for the sequel’s direction, Fardeen expressed his confidence in staying true to the original vision, noting, “I don’t know if they’ll do something different with the sequel, but I’m pretty sure it will be close to that.” Anees already had written. I think it will be incredible. As the anticipation builds No entry 2, Fardeen is eagerly awaiting the release and expresses his excitement to witness the development of the sequel on screen.
