Megastar Amitabh Bachchan recently announced the completion of his shooting schedule for the upcoming Tamil film Vettaiyan, which stars Rajinikanth. Directed by TJ Gnanavel Jai Bhim Produced by Lyca Productions, the film marks a significant collaboration between two legendary actors of Indian cinema.

Bachchan shared the update on his personal blog and expressed his thoughts and reflections on completing the project. The actor who last appeared on screen in the 1991 film opposite Rajinikanth buzzrecalled his experiences and shared his hopes for the film’s final result.
“Another working day comes to an end and for me also the end of this project,” Bachchan wrote in his blog. He also expressed his usual concern about whether the work done was to his satisfaction and whether there was any opportunity for improvement. Despite his doubts, Bachchan continues to hope for another chance to repeat and improve on his performance in the film. “But always the dissatisfaction of doubt when thinking about whether the work done was satisfactory and whether there is an opportunity to make another attempt, to repeat and perhaps improve the previous one…” he added.
He wrote: “There is always a fear that the production or director may not give you another chance and the opportunity to remake and improve will be given. But let’s see… Seeing and doing is the deepest separation from actions… isn’t it? “You can see and not do…or do and not see…and neither will be the wiser,” as he shared several behind-the-scenes photos from the set.
Vettaiyan is touted to be an entertainer with a message and marks Rajinikanth’s 170th feature film. Apart from Bachchan and Rajinikanth, the film features an ensemble cast including renowned actors like Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Ritika Singh, Manju Warrier and Dushara Vijayan in pivotal roles.
Music composer Anirudh Ravichander is set to compose the music for it VettaiyanThis marks another collaboration after last year Prison guard. Produced by A Subaskaran of Lyca Productions, the film is set to be a visual and aural treat for fans of Tamil cinema.
