Tesla Cybertruck Driver Rails Against Cyclists After Joking About Pedal Recall

  • Two cyclists mocked the owner of a Tesla Cybertruck and a verbal altercation broke out.
  • The truck driver interrupted the passengers and then hurled insults and slurs at them.
  • The cyclists managed to capture much of the interaction on camera.

Riding a bicycle near traffic inevitably presents a certain level of danger to the activity. In most cases nothing bad happens, but even where there is no physical contact, arguments can break out between drivers and passengers. That’s exactly what happened to two cyclists who mocked a Tesla Cybertruck driver in the latest exciting truck recall.

var adpushup = window.adpushup = window.adpushup || {que:[]}; adpushup.que.push(function() { if (adpushup.config.platform !== “DESKTOP”){ adpushup.triggerAd(“4d84e4c9-9937-4f84-82c0-c94544ee6f2a”); } else{ adpushup.triggerAd(” 6a782b01-facb-45f3-a88f-ddf1b1f97657″); } });

It’s unclear where the incident occurred or what exactly sparked the interaction, but one of the drivers pulled out his phone to record the end of the interaction. In it, we immediately hear the Cybertruck driver insulting the cyclists. He’s hurling homophobic insults at them within seconds, while the drivers sound apologetic and sound like they’re trying to de-escalate the situation.

Despite these efforts, the agitated Tesla cybertruck driver reiterates his bad behavior. “Stop insulting me with your mouth, then I won’t react to you,” says the truck driver. “I want nothing more than to rip your head off and spit down your throat,” he continues. “You cyclists screw up all the roads…you’re insufferable…and then you run your mouth all over me while I’m trying to ride to work?”

The drivers then explain their actions by saying that they were just making fun of a recent recall. In this situation, the entire population of Cybertrucks needed a rivet on the accelerator. “Do you yell at people in their cars as they drive by?” the driver asks. “We often get harassed by people in cars… we’re just stupid kids,” said one of the two cyclists.

The encounter ends with the riders wishing the driver a good day, even though the owner of the Tesla Cybertruck warned that they might one day be confronted by the wrong person. Ironically, he seems unaware that he himself was exhibiting behavior appropriate to being the “wrong guy” at that moment.

Look, this Cybertruck incident might make some people cheer, but let’s not stereotype. Cybertrucks are already very popular with a certain crowd who think they’re a bit over the top. But one bad apple doesn’t spoil the whole bunch, right? As we’ve seen countless times, aggressive drivers come in all shapes and sizes, getting behind the wheel of everything from minivans to monster trucks.
