For Rajasthan Royals, Ravichandran Ashwin was the pick of the bowlers with his figures of 3/24. Apart from him, Trent Boult, Sandeep Sharma and Yuzvendra Chahal picked a wicket each as they bounced back well in the middle phase.

DC vs RR IPL 2024, Match 56 – Rajasthan Royals Innings: Skipper Sanju Samson leads from the front but fails to take the team home

Yashasvi Jaiswal (4) perished on the second ball of the innings and after that Jos Buttler (19) perished after a poor start. Rajasthan Royals were reduced to 67/2 and under pressure at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi.

But after that, captain Sanju Samson (86) played a counter-attacking innings and scored some quick runs for his team. Riyan Parag (27) supported him well and the duo added 36 runs. After he got out, Shubham Dubey (25) also played an important innings.

However, Delhi Capitals made a strong comeback as Kuldeep Yadav picked two wickets in the 18th over. They restricted Rajasthan Royals to 201 runs and won the game by 20 runs.
