A classic Warner Bros. IP is heading to Netflix with a reimagining from one of the studio’s top TV producers. The streamer ended up in a competitive situation with several bidders Scooby-Doo! In a tough TV market, the drama project attracted interest from top buyers and landed at Netflix with a prime script-to-series commitment, sources said. Representatives for Netflix and WBTV declined to comment.
Scooby-Doo! The live-action series is produced by Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Leigh London Redman for Berlanti Productions and Appelbaum and Rosenberg along with André Nemec and Jeff Pinkner under their Midnight Radio banner. ‘Berlanti Prods.’ Jonathan Gabay and Adrienne Erickson of Midnight Radio are co-executive producers.
