A video circulating on social media, including Reddit, shows a McLaren driver with questionable judgment. The clip shows the custom-made beast screeching to a halt in the middle of the road – not for a scenic view, but for a 360-degree donut.
Smoke rises from the tires as the driver accelerates hard, a symphony captured by a chorus of smartphone cameras. But just a few moments later the big finale comes: the driver loses control and the McLaren finds its new home: the unforgiving concrete.

The incident occurred Sunday afternoon on Ventura Boulevard in Woodland Hills, California. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as the sidewalk was empty at the time of the accident and traffic was relatively light.
The Senna collided with the walls of a Lexus dealership next to a parked Toyota Camry. The front clamshell was completely destroyed and it appears the supercar suffered significant damage to the carbon fiber chassis and front suspension. While McLaren usually manages to repair models of this caliber, the insurance company bill will undoubtedly be high.
It’s unclear who was behind the wheel of the car, but according to Motor1, speculation from comments under the Reddit video suggests that this McLaren looks a lot like the one owned by Edmond Mondi, a YouTuber, entrepreneur and racing driver. Although it hasn’t been confirmed, the vehicle visually closely resembles Mondi’s custom Senna “Project Kilo II,” which he recently purchased and showed off to his 307,000 followers on Instagram.
According to the car’s owner, the Senna is unique for several reasons. It features factory-fitted carbon wheels from MSO, a trim that costs $152,000. Additionally, it is the first Senna example to arrive in the United States and the only one with a combination of green exterior paint and saddle interior. Other distinctive personalization details include a gold exhaust shield and the Kiwi logo on the side skirts. The nickname “Project Kilo II” comes from the original owner’s previous custom build, a bespoke 650 S called “Project Kilo I”, which was also built by the MSO division.
Incidentally, in 2022, the YouTuber gained notoriety after he crashed a GMC Hummer EV, causing $78,000 in damage. Given the cost of a McLaren Senna, we can be sure that the repair bill for the McLaren, no matter who owns it, will be much higher this time around.
