IPL 2024 [WATCH]: Rinku Singh is Overjoyed After Getting Another Bat from Virat Kohli

After the collision between Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) And Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in the 10th game of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024There was a heartwarming exchange between KKR’s emerging talents, Rinku Singhand the veteran Indian cricketer, Virat Kohli. After the game at Chinnaswamy Stadium, players from both teams gathered in the dressing room for a friendly exchange. During this time, RCB’s star player Kohli generously gifted Rinku one of his cricket bats.

However, when the teams met again for an IPL match, Rinku needed another bat. In a video shared by KKR, Rinku could be seen politely asking Kohli for a replacement bat, stating that he accidentally broke the bat he was gifted earlier while playing against spinners with too much power. Initially, Kohli seemed unhappy with this revelation, suggesting that Rinku might not be given another bat this time.
Despite the initial tension, Rinku’s luck turned when Kohli finally relented and provided him with a new bat. KKR later shared a video on social media in which Rinku revealed that his request had been fulfilled.

Rinku Singh finally gets a new bat from Virat Kohli

Before KKR’s game against Punjab Kings (PBKS), a fan approached Rinku and asked if he had received the bat. With a smile, Rinku confirmed that he had indeed gotten what he needed and proudly showed the bat to the cheering fans. In the video shared by them, KKR expressed his gratitude towards Kohli for his generous act. Notably, the video showed Rinku taking his mother’s oath to take good care of the bat and not break it this time.

Rinku Singh’s performance in IPL 2024

With the T20 World Cup looming, the 26-year-old batsman will need to make a significant impact in IPL 2024 if he wants to grab the attention of voters and secure a place in the prestigious T20 cricket tournament.
