Dodge Charger Daytona: Dealer Ordering Guide Reveals Colors, Packages and Options | Car Scoops

Buyers looking for a First Edition Charger Daytona will need to use Dodge’s Horsepower Locator tool to find it

Dodge’s future is quickly approaching with the 2024 Charger Daytona, and now ordering guides offered to dealers have revealed how early examples of the vehicle will be specified. The First Edition models of the new electric vehicle will be offered in five different configurations and will be distributed to dealers starting this month.

As we already know, the 2024 Charger Daytona will initially be offered in two trim levels, the R/T and the Scat Pack. The former produces up to 496 hp (503 PS / 370 kW) and 404 lb-ft (548 Nm) with an eStage 1 tuning kit and is offered in one of two First Edition configurations. The Scat Pack model produces up to 670 hp (680 PS / 500 kW) and 627 lb-ft (850 Nm) thanks to the eStage 2 upgrade. First edition copies are offered in three configurations.

This emerges from dealer product manuals that MoparInsiders has seen. All models will be offered with their respective eStage upgrades, but only three colors will be available at launch: Diamond Black, Triple Nickle and White Knuckle.

The first configuration of the Charger Daytona R/T will feature the Plus Group, which offers leather performance seats that are ventilated and heated at the front but heated only at the rear. Also on offer are interior lighting, a 16-inch instrument cluster, premium LED headlights with the vehicle-wide LED daytime running light signature and illuminated door handles. It also gets a full-glass tinted roof and an 18-speaker sound system from Alpine. Finally, it will wear 20-inch Dark aluminum wheels wrapped in 255/45R20 A/S tires, as well as Dark R/T fender badges.

In the second configuration, the R/T model gets the same interior, but without the blacked-out emblems and wheels. Instead, the model is a little more flamboyant and features Demon Red seats with perforated inserts and red and silver stitching.

All configurations of the Charger Daytona Scat Pack First Edition model come with Dodge’s Track Pack, which features red six-piston Brembo brake calipers, high-back leather and suede performance seats and Dodge’s Driving Experience Recorder.

They all also benefit from the Plus group of options, which include ventilated front seats, heated seats all around, interior lighting, a heads-up display, premium LED headlights and illuminated door handles. However, this is where the options for Configuration 2 end.

Meanwhile, Configurations 1 and 3 get Sun & Sound Group’s add-ons, which offer a full-glass tinted roof and Alpine’s 18-speaker sound system. Configuration 1 tops it all off with the Carbon & Suede package. There are also 20-inch Dark aluminum wheels, Dark Bee fender emblems and carbon fiber on the center console, mirror caps and door inserts. In addition, the center cushions of the seats are made of suede and the car gets a headliner made of the same material.

Unfortunately, Dodge hasn’t announced pricing details yet. The plan is to allocate quotas for First Edition models to dealers the week of April 22nd. An online configurator will then open, allowing buyers to search for the model they want using the Horsepower Locator tool on DodgeGarage.com.
