Wheel Deals: Drive-Away Pricing, Strong Offer on the 2024 Hyundai Staria Load

Hyundai offers nationwide drive-away pricing for its Staria charge Transporter, as it promotes a strong offer.

The basic Staria Load is currently offered with two swing doors or a fold-up tailgate $49,490 drive away. This equates to a saving of $1391.50 in Victoria and $1279.08 in New South Wales. For now, the end date of this deal is April 30, 2024.

There are no nationwide drive-away pricing for Crew Van and Premium models. The Crew Van has a second row of seats, while the Premium has more extensive equipment.

Additionally, Hyundai is currently offering a 10 percent discount on its range of accessory packages.

The company says it has strong inventory of the Staria Load across the country, unlike the segment’s best-selling van – the Toyota HiAce – which faces longer waiting times.

Hyundai Australia says it has “worked hard to secure additional supply” and to that end it now has 944 Staria loads in dealer inventory and 210 in compounds.

The company says it has a “healthy production pipeline” and 689 are currently loaded onto ships en route here.

All Staria Load models are powered by one 2.2-liter turbodiesel four-cylinder engine to produce 130kW of power and 430 Nm of torque, paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

While the related people mover Staria offers this engine with all-wheel drive, the Staria Load is only equipped with front-wheel drive.

In the first quarter of 2024, Hyundai sold 802 Staria Loads, making it the third best-selling van in its segment.

The LDV G10 was a close lead with 828 sales, while the Toyota HiAce topped everything in the segment with 2,660 sales – good for a 47.1 percent share in the segment, versus 14.2 percent for the Hyundai.
