Watch Prince William Tell Princess Charlotte’s Favorite Joke

Prince William is on the way. The 41-year-old Prince of Wales traveled to the West Midlands near Birmingham, England, on Thursday, marking his first solo trip since his wife. Kate Middleton‘S, Cancer News.

William appeared to be in good spirits as he visited several boys at St Michael’s Church of England High School to talk about mental health.

The next in line to the British royal throne was tasked with telling a “dad joke,” but he instead chose to share his daughter, Princess Charlotte’s, favorite joke.

“I was trying to remember Jack Whitehall because most of his jokes are quite fatherly,” William said of the British comedian, who recently became a father for the first time.

He went on to tell Charlotte’s favorite “interrupting cow” knock-knock joke. Before the students had a chance to ask, “Who interrupted the cow?” William jumped in with a loud “Moo!”

Not only did William get a lot of laughter from the students, but also a shout-out from Whitehall himself, who retweeted the video from royal reporters and wrote: “Flushed by the future king. ❤️“

He also shared a funny video reaction on Instagram in which he wrote: “An outrageous shade of the future king. #DadJokes #theregoesmyknighthood.”

The father of three has spoken about his children several times at official events. During his visit to Woodgate Valley Urban Farm, William petted guinea pig Snowflake and revealed that he often has to clean out his own children’s guinea pig’s cage when they forget.

William and Kate share Prince George, 10, Princess Charlotte, 8, and Prince Louis, who recently celebrated his sixth birthday. The royals celebrated the special occasion by showing off a new portrait of Louis taken by Kate.

According to Kate’s public announcement When William learned she was seeking treatment for an unknown form of cancer, he took a break from his royal duties and returned to Surrey for his first event earlier this month.

Before Kate spoke publicly about her health battle, a source told ET that she “glossed over” the news when she told young Louis, noting that George and Charlotte probably got a more adult version of the situation.

William’s father, King Charles III, also announced earlier this year that he was also battling cancer.
