Scheana Shay‘s attempt to reconcile with Tom Sandoval took a turn when he brought up his affair with her Brandi Glanvilleis now ex-husband, Eddie Cibrian.
During the Tuesday, April 23 episode of Vanderpump RulesScheana, 38, and Sandoval, 41, got into an argument when she brought up her song “Apples,” which addressed his high-profile cheating scandal Rachel “Raquel” Leviss.
“That was my plan [from the perspective] You both did Ariana [Madix]“It destroyed me,” Scheana told Sandoval of his affair, which ended his nearly decade-long romance. “In more ways than one. The friendship [and] the interim injunction. And yes, I decided to – if you want to call it that – capitalize on it.”
Rachel, 29, and Scheana were close friends before the news about Scandoval broke in March 2023. A day before the cheating bombshell made headlines, Rachel accused Scheana of hitting her when she found out about the affair. Although Rachel’s restraining order was eventually lifted, she had no contact with Scheana and left the hit Bravo series before Season 11.
In the latest episode of VPRSandoval claimed Scheana was “100 times more reactive” than 38-year-old Ariana. However, Scheana argued that she felt she was allowed to do so after Sandoval publicly supported Rachel’s decision to file the restraining order.
“Do you know why it was me? Because all you had to do was shut up,” Scheana said, before Sandoval replied, “Scheana, I want you to understand something.” They were not involved in this. You weren’t cheated and [Raquel] Didn’t screw Brock.”
Sandoval continued: “Why are you acting like you’re the biggest victim of this whole scenario? You keep going. The point I want to make is what you did. It’s like I’m stepping on Kyle [Chan]His shoes and then he burns down my house.”
Scheana’s husband, Brock DaviesHe stepped in to defend her, saying, “Take your time with this. You wrote a song that you sing about [Tom] Schwartz’s mother and King Raquel.”
In response, Sandoval called Scheana and Brock’s argument “ridiculous.”
“It’s not even remotely close. “You have more authority to speak about events in my life than I do,” Sandoval noted. “You put yourself in this situation.”
Scheana began to become visibly upset that Sandoval didn’t understand her point of view. “Do you know I’m having crazy thoughts about Brock and… right now?” Lala [Kent] – one of my best friends – because I’m like, “Oh my God, could someone do this to me?” Because you did [Ariana]” she shot back. “You did.”
The conversation initially ended when Scheana tried to walk home. However, Sandoval made the situation worse by pointing out that Scheana has been “the other woman in an af-king relationship” in the past.
“Fk you. When I was 21 years old in 2006. Are you kidding me?” Scheana yelled at Sandoval. “I didn’t know he was married. Fk you.”
Brock also shushed Sandoval, saying, “She was in her 20s, bro. You’re fucking 40. It doesn’t matter. To stop.”
Meanwhile, Lala, Ariana and Katie Maloney seemed shocked by Sandoval’s comment, which they had overheard. Lala, 33, said Sandoval’s shadow was “driving her crazy” while Katie, 37, called him a “disgusting human being.”
Ariana comforted Scheana before she left, saying, “He sucks, honey. I love you so much.”
Vanderpump Rules Fans are familiar with the context behind Sandoval’s dig, as the backdoor pilot revolved around Scheana trying to make amends RHOBA‘S Brandi Glanville for her affair with Eddie Cibrian.
Brandi, 51, and Eddie, 50, who have two sons together, called it quits in 2009 Us weekly broke the news that he was having an affair with LeAnn Rimes. Scheana told me later Us that she “ended things with Eddie” when his romance with LeAnn, 41, was brought to her attention. Eddie and LeAnn married in 2011.
During Tuesday’s episode, Brock and James Kennedy urged Sandoval to “bring up the past.” However, Sandoval disagreed as he felt his cheating scandal should also be considered ancient history.
“Aren’t you bringing up the past when you bring up this song? Isn’t that the past?” he asked. “Wasn’t that already 6 months ago? Are we trying not to move on from that?”
Vanderpump Rules airs Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo and is available to stream the next day on Peacock.
