American off-road SUV manufacturer Jeep has launched the Wrangler facelift in India. This updated version of the popular lifestyle off-roader has been priced at Rs. 67.65 lakh. Jeep India will offer the Wrangler in two variants in the country, namely Unlimited and Rubicon. The newly redesigned model features a number of design updates on the outside. There are also some updates to the interior.
2024 Jeep Wrangler facelift
For the 2024 model year, Jeep India has equipped the Wrangler with an updated front fascia. It still features the iconic seven-slat grille. However, it has been given black surrounds that give it a more aggressive look. Otherwise, it still gets round LED headlights.
The bumper has remained the same and the fog lights are still set the same. The wide front fenders, which house LED daytime running lights and indicators, were also retained. In addition, the car is now equipped with cornering Gorilla Glass.
In the side profile it gets new 17 and 18 inch alloy wheels. The former is offered with the Rubicon variant, the latter with the Unlimited variant. It also gets a three-piece modular hardtop. On the back, it gets exactly the same design as before.
2024 Jeep Wrangler: Interior and features
The entire interior layout of the Wrangler has also remained the same. However, this time it features a huge 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment screen. The Nappa leather interior is also available, with the steering wheel and gear knob in the same leather.
It also comes with a 7-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-speaker sound system in the Unlimited variant and an Alpine Premium 9-speaker audio system in the Rubicon variant.

Coming to the main highlight of this SUV, it comes with a lot of off-road features. It features an electronically disconnectable front stabilizer bar and robust Dana44 axles with Tru Lok.
In addition, it has 4 pre-wired additional switches and an off-road plus mode. There is also a performance suspension.
As for the powertrain, the 2024 Jeep Wrangler is still powered by a 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine. The four-cylinder engine produces a maximum power of 268 hp and a maximum torque of 400 Nm.
Power transmission is carried out as standard by an 8-speed torque converter. It is the only engine and transmission option available for the Indian-made Wrangler.
Coming to the pricing, as mentioned above, the Jeep Wrangler was priced at Rs. 67.65 lakh. This price applies to the Unlimited version of the model. Meanwhile, the Wrangler Rubicon has been launched at Rs. 71.65 lakh.
Introducing the Jeep Compass Night Eagle
Apart from the Jeep Wrangler, the company also recently launched the Compass for Rs. 25.39 lakh. This edition in particular is a limited model with a unique all-black theme. The Night Eagle is based on the Longitude (O) variant and offers a number of additional features in addition to the all-black design.
