Dangerous and reckless driving in traffic and on public roads has been attracting a lot of attention lately. A social media user posted a livestream with a driver who claims to be one of New York’s most wanted. Everything seemed to be going according to plan until they were hit in traffic by a gang member. Let’s break down what we know, what we don’t know, and what those seemingly close to the incident are claiming.

Streamer N3ON posted a video of himself riding shotgun in a Lamborghini Urus while another social media user named Squeeze.Benz drives. In a 14-minute video, the driver violates several laws, including speeding, driving in oncoming lanes and more.

At one point he pauses while others in the group perform donuts on a public street. Anyone who knows Squeeze Benz through social media platforms such as YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, among others, knows that such reckless behavior is typical of him. However, this time he adds another offense: leaving the scene of an accident.

Towards the end of the video, the group drives through traffic at high speeds and someone in a white Lexus crashes into the back of the Urus. The driver panics and quickly speeds away from the scene of the accident. Shortly afterwards he lets N3ON out of the car and drives away.
In addition to the white Lexus sedan, the group also included a white BMW sedan, and a video from a following vehicle appears to show the Lexus pulling over to the side of the road with its hood badly damaged. A video from the Lamborghini itself shows the moment of impact, where the Lexus simply cannot stop in time and hits the Urus. The airbags deploy and the Lexus stops.
Members of the group claimed on social media that they returned the Lamborghini to its owner with a bag full of cash. If these statements are indeed true, although we have not been able to confirm them, it means that the SUV may have been rented. This lines up with a recent interview with Squeeze.Benz where he talked about how he avoided detection and mentioned that renting cars was part of his strategy.

For now, it looks like the accident simply serves as proof that no one is infallible. It is also possible that this could lead authorities to this driver and his group of followers.
Based on the video and corresponding data from Google Maps, it looks like the footage starts at 13705 20th Ave in a Target parking lot and then ends at 111-12 Astoria Blvd. The accident occurred on the Grand Central Parkway southeast of LaGuardia Airport. If we could figure all this out with a quick search, imagine how close the NYPD could be.
