Mahindra Scorpio-N Z2 and Z4 Variants with Luxurious Makeover [Video]

Today we discuss two Mahindra Scorpio-Ns that have been tastefully modified with luxury in mind. The cars are featured in a YouTube video uploaded by VIG Auto Accessories. The video shows us two Scorpio N SUVs: a Z4 variant and a base Z2 variant. Now let’s understand in detail what changes have been made to each SUV.

Z4 variant for top conversion

The presenter begins with the changes made to the front bumper of the car. The entire lighting system was modernized. Both the headlights (LED projector with sequential indicators) and the fog lights (LED with DRLs) are adopted from the Z8 top model of the Scorpio N. A subtle but noticeable change is the gloss black grille with chrome accents and chrome top lip. Previously, this variant came with a regular plastic grille with silver accents.

The steel rims of the Z4 variant are upgraded compared to the top variant with 18-inch light alloy rims. Other additions to the side profile include rain visors with chrome accents, a chrome beltline and chrome C-pillars.

After covering the exterior, the host discusses the interior, which is the biggest highlight of this project. He calls it a “super luxurious interior.” The theme of the cabin was changed to beige and black instead of the original brown and black theme. An interior styling kit with glossy black elements complements this color combination beautifully. The SUV’s key touchpoints, including door pads, dashboard, horn pad and leg rest, are covered in soft-touch leather.

In addition to the change of theme, numerous changes were made to the interior, including active ambient lighting (all four doors, door handles, under the seats and on the dashboard), shell-look seat covers,

Another big highlight of the cabin is the improved steering wheel. The normal steering wheel was replaced by a strong, flat-bottomed steering wheel with leather wrapping and glossy black elements.

Basic Z2 variant with necessary modifications

The second project shown in the video is the Z2 base variant of the Scorpio N. Like the first car, the alloy wheels have been upgraded to genuine 18-inch Mahindra alloy wheels. Several chrome elements (C-pillar, beltline, door handle trim, body trim, ORVMs, and front and rear fenders) have been added to the side profile of the vehicle to enhance its visual appeal.

However, this is subjective as some people might like it, others might not. Functional additions to the side profile include roof rails, running boards and rain visors. Changes to the front fascia include the addition of genuine Mahindra fog lamps with daytime running lights, chrome elements on the black plastic grille, a lower chrome grille trim and the switch from halogen to LED headlights.

The interior of this car has also been upgraded. The interior theme of this project is champagne gold and black, which is similar to the original brown and black. A gloss black interior styling kit was also added. Soft-touch leather material has been added in various places, such as the door pads, dashboard and legrests. The steering wheel is wrapped in black leather, while the horn pad is wrapped in champagne gold leather.
