Suki Waterhouse is already a proud baby girl mom, publicly revealing the gender of her newborn baby while performing at the 2024 Coachella Music and Arts Festival.
“I don’t know if some of you know, but I’ve been going through some big changes in my life lately; There were some pretty big events,” Waterhouse, 32, joked during her concert on Friday, April 12, at the Indio, California music festival, per social media footage.
She continued, “I love amazing ladies and I was very lucky to have my own little amazing lady and meet the love of my life.” (Waterhouse’s “love of my life” shout was apparently a reference to her boyfriend, Robert Pattinsonwhile “little amazing lady” probably refers to her daughter.)
Waterhouse returned from her maternity leave to make her first appearance at Coachella, where she looked stunning in white pants, a sheer blouse and an oversized fur coat. During the festival set, Waterhouse not only sang her own songs, but also covered Oasis’ “Don’t Look Back in Anger.”
Waterhouse’s Coachella appearance comes just weeks after she became a mother. In March, it was announced that Waterhouse had given birth to her and Pattinson’s first baby Daisy Jones and the Six The star publicly introduced the newborn weeks later via Instagram.
“Welcome to the world, angels ❤️“,” Waterhouse gushed via Instagram on April 4, sharing a photo of herself cradling her child.
Parenthood has also strengthened Waterhouse’s bond with Pattinson, 37.
“Rob has seen a completely different side of Suki since becoming a mother,” a source said exclusively Us weekly March. “He has so much respect for Suki and she has adapted to motherhood like a natural.”
According to the insider, Waterhouse and the Batman star “couldn’t be happier” to have expanded her family.
Pattinson and Waterhouse, who have been together since July 2018, announced her pregnancy in November 2023 while performing at the Corona Capital Music Festival in Mexico City.
“I thought I’d wear something sparkly today because I thought it might distract you from something else,” Waterhouse joked at the time, pointing to her baby bump. “I’m not sure it works.”
Since giving birth, Waterhouse has also learned to embrace her postpartum body and give herself “grace.”
“The fourth trimester was… humiliating!” she wrote via Instagram earlier this month. “The time after birth was full of exhilarating joy, so much laughter, tears, so many hormones! I am proud of everything my body has accomplished and proud of the kindness and grace I have shown myself during this period of recovery 💕.”
