Superstar Shah Rukh Khan made a grand entrance in Kolkata ahead of Kolkata Knight Riders’ much-awaited match against Punjab Kings in the Indian Premier League (IPL), which was accompanied by stringent security measures. The game, scheduled to take place on Friday evening at the legendary Eden Gardens, is already full of excitement. Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is set to star opposite Suhana Khan in a film. Sujoy Ghosh will direct the film King while Siddharth Anand will handle the storyline. According to reports, the father-daughter combination will shoot the film in London.
According to a story published online by Boxoffice Worldwide, the team intends to shoot heavy action sequences in London. Shooting for the film will begin in June. The portal also revealed that the production team has “ambitious plans” and is focusing on shooting action-packed scenes that would form a large part of the story. King is expected to deliver a “thrilling cinematic experience, complete with a high-octane chase scenario.”
This announcement comes soon after various sources hinted that SRK would portray a gray-skinned character similar to Don. Suhana Khan, on the other hand, is given extensive training to execute the action parts of the film. Gauri Khan and Siddharth Anand are reportedly producing the film, which has a budget of more than Rs 200 crore. At the time of writing, News18 could not confirm the allegations.
Previously, according to a report in Pinkvilla, it was revealed that “Siddharth Anand and Sujoy Ghosh were constantly in touch with Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan at several meetings from October 2023 to February 2024. Sujoy is working meticulously on the script with Sid” and SRK. Crafting top-notch action sequences is entirely Siddharth’s responsibility.”
