SRH vs LSG: Watch – LSG Owner Sanjiv Goenka Brutally Abuses KL Rahul and Justin Langer on Camera After Suffering a Crushing Defeat Against SRH

Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) owner Sanjiv Goenka didn’t seem to be in a good mood after his team suffered a heavy defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the 57th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024. The match between the two teams will take place at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

Lucknow Super Giants were at the receiving end of a 10-wicket hammering at the hands of Sunrisers Hyderabad. Not only would this have dented their confidence, but it would also have reduced their chances of qualifying for the playoffs as a win today would have certainly put them in a strong position

The Lucknow Super Giants, who chose to bat first, did not have a great outing as they managed just 165 runs. They were reeling at 66/4 and it was Nicholas Pooran (48*) and Ayush Badoni (55*) who bailed them out and ensured their team posted a respectable total score of 165 on the board due to their unbeaten 99- Run stand.

The Lucknow Super Giants were then unable to put Sunrisers Hyderabad under pressure with the ball. They didn’t know how to bowl against Abhishek Sharma (75*) and Travis Head (89*). The duo wreaked havoc on the opposition bowling line-up and chased the target within the overs, showing what a mess it was.

The Lucknow Super Giants KL skipper had complete confidence and the apparent abuse from the team owner Sanjiv Goenka didn’t help either. The franchise owner was chatting animatedly with the team captain and seemed dissatisfied with something.

In the video that has gone viral on the internet, Sanjiv Goenka can be seen thrashing KL Rahul. However, the LSG captain seemed clueless and remained calm. Here is the clip:

As if that wasn’t enough, Sanjiv Goenka also went on to slam head coach Justin Langer. The franchise owner seemed unhappy with the Australian coach. KL Rahul was also present there but left afterwards.

I’m at a loss for words – KL Rahul after Lucknow Super Giants’ defeat

KL Rahul spoke about the defeat his team suffered in the match against SRH. He admitted that he was lost for words by the way Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma fought against them. The LSG captain also admitted that he was 40-50 runs short. In an interview with broadcasters he explained:

“I am at a loss for words. We’ve seen this kind of hitting on TV. But this is an unreal beating. Everything seemed to find the center of the racket. Kudos for her skills. They have worked hard on their six batting skills. They didn’t make it. “It was hard to stop them when they hit from the first ball.”
