The Rove R3 is Rove’s premium dashcam. It is a 3-channel camera, which means it records videos from the front (1440p), back (1080p) and inside the cabin (1080p). The touchscreen is a 3-inch IPS display and the camera runs custom software, which is of course included and linked to the Rove app on iOS or Android. Product firmware updates occur remotely thanks to the always-on built-in dual-band WiFi. In addition to Wi-Fi, there’s also GPS with live speed alerts, a compass, and location stamps. Because this is a single front-facing camera, you won’t get rear and interior views, but it will record in up to 4K resolution at 30 frames per second or full 1080p HD resolution at up to 60 frames per Second up.
