Premier League Predictions: Gameweek 35

Football continues to be in full swing with more twists and turns expected in Gameweek 35 of the 2023/24 Premier League this weekend.

The title race brought more drama in midweek as Arsenal and Manchester City each picked up three more points, but Liverpool stumbled dramatically in a 2-0 defeat in the Merseyside derby. Another disappointing defeat would almost certainly end any lingering hopes of more titles under outgoing coach Jürgen Klopp.

There is also the possibility of the top-flight’s first confirmed relegation of the season at the bottom of the table, where others will be hoping to stay alive before the end of the season. Take part in a north London derby on Sunday and the stage is set for a delicious series of games.

Here’s how 90min sees Gameweek 35 coming to an end.

Liverpool He may have relinquished his top spot in the Premier League table for the last time this season. Losses to Crystal Palace and Everton have seen them lose ground on their title rivals and it would be no surprise to see the Reds drop further points West Ham United in the early kick-off on Saturday.

Fulham And Crystal Palace are in 13th and 14th, separated by three points ahead of the clash at Craven Cottage, where the home side have claimed most of their wins. However, the in-form duo of Eberechi Eze and Michael Olise could once again prove to be an inspiration for the Eagles on their travels.

Manchester UnitedThe 2016 season has descended into utter chaos, with the last six games bringing results of 1-1, 4-3, 2-2, 2-2, 3-3 and 4-2. Burnley will hope to hurt the ever-open Red Devils, but whether they have the star power necessary to get a result is another question.

Sheffield UnitedThe relegation of will be confirmed if they are beaten Newcastle United in St James’ Park. The Magpies dismantled Tottenham at home last time out, while the Blades have taken just six points from 17 away games so far in the 2023/24 season.

18th place Luton Town are still alive, but consecutive 5-1 defeats mean their goal difference is significantly worse than 17th-placed Nottingham Forest. Saturday presents them with a clash with a Wolves A side that hasn’t won in seven games, but Gary O’Neil’s Wanderers could return to winning ways at Molineux instead.

Everton achieved a monumental success in the Merseyside derby against Liverpool, almost securing their place in the top flight next season. The Toffees may feel less anxious and more free when hosting Brentfordwho themselves have allayed fears of falling into the bottom three with wins over Sheffield Utd and Luton.

Aston Villa are moving ever closer to confirming a place in the top four and could take another step in that direction by moving past a rudderless one Chelsea, who lost 5-0 to Arsenal midweek without Cole Palmer. The Blues aren’t far from the European places, but they can’t be counted on to get going.

Both clubs are on the south coast but there is little hostility between them Bournemouth And Brighton. The Cherries have moved past the Seagulls and could take advantage of home advantage on Sunday as Roberto De Zerbi’s side look depleted after defeat to Man City.

The mutual hatred between them is undeniable Tottenham And arsenal, However. The Gunners will be looking to win at the home of their bitter rivals for the second successive season to stay alive in the title race, which would further dent Spurs’ Champions League hopes.

This victory could be canceled at some point Manchester City visit Nottingham Forest in the final game of Gameweek 35. The reigning champions looked ominously sharp as they picked Brighton apart and Forest will be lucky if they get a few shots on target, let alone take three penalties.
