This week, the fun factor of the show was increased manifold as Anuradha Paudwal and Abhijeet Bhattacharya joined the show as special guests. While Abhijeet and Anuradha are known for their singing skills, the latter is also notorious for his controversial remarks and strong opinions on various aspects of life. This time too, Abhijeet Bhattacharjee got into a heated argument with the ever-smiling Neha Kakkar about singers humiliating themselves by singing at weddings.

Abhijeet Bhattacharya graced the sets of Superstar singer 3 as a special guest and made the comment that singers should not sing at weddings. He added that singers performing at weddings devalues their value and no amount of money is lucrative enough. Abhijeet further added:
“No one gave me money or started singing at my wedding, I don’t need authority, I gave you words, I won’t buy you.”

Neha Kakkar remained silent the entire time, but when Abhijeet expressed his opinion, he respectfully contradicted him. The singer added that if you do your work honestly, it doesn’t matter whether you are singing a backing track or at a wedding. And if someone respectfully asks you to sing at their wedding, that’s not a bad thing, because you work hard to make money. In Neha’s words:
“You can earn your hard work or how you earn it. Singing at a wedding isn’t a bad thing. There are fans, they like you, that’s why they call you. There is no reason for work.” . If you want to sing in marriage, please do it. If you are respected, there is nothing wrong with singing in marriage.
Abhijeet Bhattacharya eventually agreed to disagree and did not take the argument personally
Although both Neha and Abhijeet express their opinions on the issue, they do not cross the line of respect and agree to disagree. Abhijeet even advised Neha not to take the things he said personally and think about it. Neha agreed and added that she shared her opinion. Abhijeet took the high road and added:
“Take my words personally. That is the difference. The lesson I am teaching is that there is a big difference between paying Rs 1 crore and refusing Rs 1 crore, but that is what I want to teach.”
