Mary Jo Eustace Reacts to Ex-Dean McDermott and Tori Spelling’s Divorce

Mary Jo Eustace reflects on her ex-husband: Dean McDermottAnd Tori spellingis split.

ET’s Brice Sander spoke to the Older female dogs podcast host at the grand opening event of the Beverly Hills Rejuvenation Center in West Hollywood on Thursday, and she reacted the former couple’s public divorce.

Eustace and McDermott were married from 1993 to 2006. They had their son Jack in 1998 and were in the process of adopting Eustace’s daughter Lola, 17, at the time of their separation.

While Eustace was initially reserved about the ongoing drama in her extended family: “What are you talking about?” she quipped with a laugh – she actually commented on McDermott and Spelling’s split.

“We are that good. We are so above the nonsense,” Eustace said of her and her son, who accompanied her to Thursday’s event. “He just took his LSATs. He is studying law. My daughter is studying medicine. It’s still the same cheesy gimmicks, so we’re just not interested. Things are going well.”

The mother-son duo was all smiles during the event, and Eustace told ET that having Jack by her side was “the best thing ever.”

“It’s great to be with him. He is my best friend. I think he’s my best friend, but he might think differently,” she said, before looking at her son, who assured, “I won’t argue with that.” “

As for her ex McDermott went to Instagram last June to announce it he and spelling separated after 17 years of marriage.

And last March Photos surfaced of an emotional meeting between the couple in a warehouse. In pictures obtained by ET, Spelling was seen throwing a bag to McDermott and crying in her car.

Spelling became official that same day filed for divorce by McDermott. In documents obtained by ET, Spelling cited irreconcilable differences They filed for spousal support as the reason for the separation and requested sole custody and joint custody of their five children – Liam, 17, Stella, 15, Hattie, 12, Finn, 11, and Beau, 7.

“Tori filing for divorce from Dean was no surprise to either of them. They have both been doing everything right over the last few years and have a plan in place,” said a source said ET shortly thereafter. “They wanted to make sure they were both cared for individually and also as co-parents. It’s not a volatile situation on either side and there is actually quite a warm relationship between them. Your co-parenting situation is fine and getting better.”

Romantically speaking, both parties have moved on. Spelling sees Ryan Cramer, whom she got discovered out in November, and McDermott is looking for a partner Lily Calo.
