The wait for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batsman Rinku Singh to get Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) batsman Virat Kohli’s bat is finally over. The left-hander seemed to have achieved what he wanted after he was seen challenging the senior batter for a while in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.
Ahead of the second leg of the match between Kolkata Knight Riders and Royal Challengers in IPL 2024, a video went viral on the internet. In the clip, Rinku Singh is seen asking Virat Kohli for his bat because the left-hander broke the bat that Kohli gave him before the first match between the teams.
When Rinku Singh informed Virat Kohli about the bat’s failure, the RCB batsman appeared frustrated and rejected his request. He explained: “You took one bat before one game, now do you want me to give you two bats in two games? In the end I have to face the consequences.”
However, Rinku Singh did not escape as he kept begging Virat Kohli to lend him another bat. As if that wasn’t enough, the KKR batsman also insulted him and said he would take better care of it.
He explained: “I swear to you, I will never break your racket again. I kept the broken one, I can show it to you.”

However, Virat Kohli stood by his comment and did not let the batsman down. After the game between the teams was over, Rinku Singh continued to follow the RCB batsman and even stood by him when the senior batsman argued with the umpire.
Many wondered whether Rinku Singh got a bat from Virat Kohli or not. A new video has gone viral on the internet. In the clip, the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) batsman was seen with Virat’s bat. He was asked about it by a cameraman and he confirmed that he got the bat from the RCB batsman.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru will face Sunrisers Hyderabad at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad on Thursday (April 25). With the match between the two teams just around the corner, the former Indian cricketer said he does not want to focus on Virat Kohli as other players are also involved.
He spoke about how captain Pat Cummins changed the dynamics of SRH and urged RCB to follow the same pattern. Speaking to Star Sports, he explained:
“We will focus on Virat Kohli again. We should stop this as another team is also involved in the game. We should talk about Pat Cummins and how he changed the team. Mayank Agarwal and Rajat were the openers but Cummins brought in Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma. The results were sensational.
“He sticks to the middle overs and gives death overs to T Natarajan. The team was on the ground when Cummins arrived. It took some time and the same franchise grew into a top unit. RCB should follow Pat Cummins and his captaincy style. You should take lessons from his book.
RCB has lost 7 games out of their 8 games in IPL 2024. They are at the bottom of the table and would like to win against SRH.
