Jill Zarin Claims Below Deck’s Fraser Won’t Defend Her Amid the Backlash

“Fraser and I stayed in touch for a year,” Jill, 60, exclusively said Us weekly about her initial friendship with the senior administrator. “But after that I never want to talk to him again. Not at all until this week.”

Jill’s appearance on Under deck was a major topic of conversation for viewers – and performers – due to her long list of St. David preferences.

“[Fraser] even apologized and said “I feel bad about the bad pressure you’re getting.” You don’t deserve it. You are a nice lady. “You didn’t do anything wrong,” Jill told Us. “So I asked him if he would come out and say something, but he didn’t.”

The Real Housewives of New York City Alum made it clear that she has no plans to mend her friendship with Fraser, adding, “I’m done. He doesn’t want to listen. I tried reaching out to him on Instagram. He just said, ‘I’m sorry you’re getting so much hate, and you don’t deserve it.’ And I said, ‘Can you say something?’ And he ignored it.”

During Jill’s two-day charter, she pointed out some areas that the crew could improve, which didn’t sit well with everyone on the yacht. stew Barbie Pascual She specifically called Jill “overwhelming” and a “freeloader,” but has since walked back those comments.

How are you supposed to continue working tonight? I’ve been so empathetic on previous trips.”

Jill explained that Fraser’s reaction when the episodes aired surprised her, even though he said on screen that he “just hated Jill” and not the other guests.

“I had a great time with Fraser. We laughed. We made. We had a great time. I had a great time with Barbie. I think they make a good TV show. Sometimes they overproduce themselves,” she shared. “After I got off the boat, I DM’d Fraser. I said, ‘Thank you for the wonderful time.’ We had the best time ever. I love staying in touch.’”

The former Bravo star recalled using the opportunity as a teachable moment and sending out a list of areas where the crew could improve.

“He wrote back: ‘I’ll write it down.’ Thank you. Let’s keep in touch. “I’m glad to see you again,” Jill continued. “Has he ever complained about me or said, ‘I never want to talk to her?’ [No]Because I was nice.”

Although Jill didn’t regret her time on the show, she wanted to give her side of the story after the drama, saying: “We wanted to leave. My friends wanted to go and we had a great time. I didn’t like that nasty things were being said about me behind my back in the comments and I didn’t have the opportunity to respond to the criticism.”

Before Jill’s episodes of Under deck aired, Fraser had nothing but praise for her. “She is sweet. She’s very lovable and very funny – but demanding,” Fraser said exclusively Us in February. “[But] All guests are demanding. They are charter guests and they have their preferences, and sometimes they can be frustrating.”

Some of Jill’s requests were strictly for Diet Coke and not Diet Pepsi. She also jokingly noted that she was “allergic to sugar.”

Fraser commented on Jill’s most surprising request, saying, “It’s going to be the ice cream. Except for a certain ice cream, she didn’t like any of it. From a specific freezer. That’s why we needed a special ice box that would follow her wherever she went. I love it. If that’s the biggest concern, then that’s what we should do [be good].”

Under deck Season 11 airs Mondays at 9pm ET on Bravo. New episodes stream the next day on Peacock.
