Caitlyn Jenner Speaks Out About Fatal Car Accident After OJ Simpson Tweet

Caitlyn Jenner argued that there is simply no comparison between her fatal car accident in 2015 and the actions of OJ Simpson.

“I know you all think it’s cute to compare a fatal car accident (with multiple vehicles involved) to a brutal MURDER…” Jenner wrote on Friday, April 12, “But remember… OJ said something that which reads: …I could kill you (Nicole) and get away with it because I’m “#OJSimpson.”

Jenner was referring to the multi-vehicle accident she was involved in in February 2015, when Jenner struck a vehicle from behind on the Pacific Coast Highway, which ultimately resulted in the death of a woman named Jenner Kim Howe.

Prosecutors declined to file charges in connection with the accident, although Howe’s stepchildren and drivers of the other cars involved in the collision filed separate civil lawsuits.

In December 2015, Jenner reached an agreement with a Hollywood agent Jessica Steindorff — a driver of one of the four cars involved — for an undisclosed amount that was reportedly paid by Jenner’s insurance company.

Simpson died of prostate cancer on Wednesday, April 10, at age 76, his family announced in a statement.
