Deadpool 3: Rumored Synopsis Contains Huge Marvel Spoilers

Until then there are less than 90 days Deadpool and Wolverine is finally coming to theaters, product tie-ins are popping up and some will definitely reveal a detail or two about the film.

In this case, however, an updated plot synopsis from Zazzle.com reveals a lot about the upcoming summer blockbuster.

The new plot synopsis, which has since been removed, reveals the following about the film: “It won’t just be like this [Deadpool and Wolverine] We’ll be working to defeat a number of villains plaguing the Marvel Universe, buddy, but they’ll also be bringing down the MCU franchise and giving some of our favorite Marvel Universe moments their own R-rated twist in the 20th century Give Century Fox style to Phases 1-4!”

This can be seen from the insights revealed by the recent trailer footage along with the CinemaCon footage.

The footage also explores the complexities of Wade’s life, showing his interactions with Rob Delaney’s Peter as they reminisce about their days as superheroes, with Wade declaring, “I’m done.” Deadpool is now a car salesman, but the arrival of the Time Variance Authority (TVA) in front of his door messes everything up. Mr. Paradox, a member of the TVA, explains their role to Wade: “We are truly a surveillance organization…we are responsible for the defense of the Sacred Timeline.” He then informs Deadpool of his mission: “You have been chosen for a higher purpose…one that who could save the entire Sacred Timeline.”

At some point during the conversation, Wade watches Thor crying over his body on a monitor. Paradox reveals, “This is happening in the distant future.” The footage then cuts to Wade at the TVA tailor, where he insists on keeping his katanas while a new suit is made for him. As he gets into a car with Wolverine, a comment about his outfit prompts Wade to ask, “Why do your friends let you leave the house when you look like you play for the Los Angeles Rams?” The footage ends with Wolverines blunt response: “Shut up.”

Director: Shawn Levy, Deadpool and Wolverine also has special significance as it marks the character’s entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe following Disney’s acquisition of 21st Century Fox. The film is expected to retain the R rating that has been a hallmark of the Deadpool franchise, even under the Disney umbrella.
