Jeezy Responds to Jeannie Mai’s Domestic Violence Allegations in Court Documents

My goodness responds to allegations of domestic violence Jeannie May she made in her recent court filing amid her ongoing and tumultuous divorce.

In a statement to ET, the “All There” rapper said the domestic violence allegations are “not only false, but deeply disturbing, especially coming from someone I loved.” Jeezy added, “This Malicious attempt to tarnish my character and disrupt my family is ridiculous. It is disheartening to witness the manipulation and deception and right now my main concern is to be an active father to our daughter while I continue to fight for the court.” Joint custody is ordered. Rest assured, the truth will prevail through the proper legal channels.

The statement came after Mai filed court documents alleging she was physically abused by Jeezy – real name Jay Wayne Jenkins – over the course of their marriage. According to court documents obtained by ET, Mai claims that an alleged incident occurred in April 2022 at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in San Francisco, California. She claims the rapper choked her from behind as she walked up the stairs before pushing her down the steps.

She claims Jeezy then verbally attacked her, calling her a “fucking bitch” and repeating, “I can do a lot better than you.” Mai claims hotel security intervened soon after she told them that she doesn’t feel safe around him.

Another alleged incident occurred in January 2022, just weeks after May gave birth to the couple’s first child, Monaco. Mai claims they were driving in a car together when he started swearing at her, telling her, “You’re here” and “I can’t wait to divorce you when we get back.” Mai claims she tried to get out of the parked car, but Jeezy allegedly hit her in the cheekbone and eye with a closed fist. She claims the alleged punch caused a subconjunctival hemorrhage.

May also brought up another alleged incident in December 2022 at the 39th Annual UNICEF Atlanta Mayor’s Masquerade Ball. She claims Jeezy was so upset when he couldn’t find her for 25 minutes – after going to the bathroom with a friend – that they left the event. She claims he grabbed her so hard in the car that she suffered several five to seven centimeter scratches on her right breast.

May claims that another alleged incident involved a golf cart that Jeezy crashed due to excessive intoxication. She claims Jeezy texted her and apologized for his behavior and the injuries caused by the accident. In her 115-page court filing, Mai included a series of text messages and photos of the alleged injuries.

In one such text message exchange, Mai allegedly sent Jeezy a series of photos that showed a large bruise on her knee as well as scratches and bruises on her elbow. She also sent him a WhatsApp: “Babbbby… I have a lot of clothes to wear this week,” followed by a face with a peeking eye emoji.

Mai claims Jeezy – who is saved as “Cheesy” in her contacts – replied: “I’m so sorry, baby. I haven’t forgiven myself for putting you in danger. I was uneasy and sad about it.”

In court documents, Mai claims she disclosed these alleged allegations of abuse to her priest and/or therapist.

As previously reported, May Consider about their child’s safety and insist that safe measures be taken when it comes to “secure and locking up any firearms that have been unsecured in the past.”

In her most recent statement of claim, Mai claims she raised these concerns following an alleged incident in October 2023, in which she claims: “[Monaco] found [Jeezy’s] AK-47 in a Louis Vuitton zippered bag [their] Dining room floor, and after the same gun was found next to a bed, the [Monaco] could have easily accessed it.

The estranged couple is currently involved in a custody dispute about her 2-year-old daughter. My goodness filed for divorce from the former The real co-host last September after two years of marriage.
