How to play co-op in Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga
Unlike some other games Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga You cannot select whether you want to play co-op through a menu option before you begin. This can lead to confusion about how to play co-op or whether it’s even an option. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how you and your partner can start a new journey in the Star Wars universe.
Step 1: Go to the episode selection screen. Here you can choose which of the three film trilogies you want to play Episode I, IVor VII. Choose the one you like and start the game.
Step 2: Once the introductory film is finished and you are ready to start playing, have the second player press begin on your controller.
Step 3: The game automatically splits the screen and the second player immediately joins your game.
Step 4: Play as long or as little as you want! The second player can even beat begin a second time and choose Stand out from the menu to immediately return to a single player game. However, you can only play with a maximum of two players.

Can you play co-op online?
The sad answer is no, Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga does not support online multiplayer, meaning you must be in the same house and have two controllers to play properly in co-op. No Lego title to date has featured an online co-op mode, so it’s a shame that this latest and most ambitious game doesn’t allow players to take on the Sith from different locations.
