Notify the postman as the postables are coming back for two new ones Signed and delivered sealed Movies on Hallmark Mystery.
Hallmark announced on Wednesday, April 10, that production has begun on two new installments of the popular franchise. Stars Eric Mabius, Kristin Booth, Yan Kay Crystal Lowe And Geoff Gustafson will all return to reprise their roles as everyone’s favorite poster detectives: Oliver, Shane, Rita and Norman.
“The continued support of our ‘Postable’ fans over the past 11 years has been our constant motivation and inspiration,” said the creator Martha Williamson said in a press release. “They have waited so long for another chapter in the lives of their beloved Dead Letter family while continuing to keep the flame alive with podcasts, posts and even in-person gatherings across the country.”
She enthused, “There are no fans like SSD fans, and we are thrilled and honored to continue this remarkable journey with them.”
Thirteen Signed and delivered sealed The films were broadcast between 2013 and 2021. There was also a short-lived series of the same name that ran for one season in 2014.
Throughout the films, Oliver’s Dead Letter Office employees worked to return lost letters and packages to their rightful owners while solving puzzles along the way. After a two-year hiatus, Hallmark Mystery is bringing the characters back to life starting in 2024 Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Three Letter Story (which is a working title).
“Oliver, Shane, Rita and Norman work to identify the intended recipients of a trio of dead letters that have a surprising, personal impact on each of them,” the official logline reads. “Meanwhile, Oliver and Shane struggle to find their footing as a married couple after the honeymoon phase.”
The second new project with the current title: Signed, Sealed, Delivered: To the Moon and Backwill premiere in 2025.
This story will feature the Postables as they “face exciting life changes,” according to the press release. “Their latest investigation takes them on a road trip to not only find the recipient of a lost letter, but also track down a rock star who holds the keys,” the logline reads.
“Martha Williamson created an incredible world with a cast of characters that fans fell in love with.” Samantha DiPippo, senior vice president of development at Hallmark Media, said Wednesday. “Their passion for the series remains undiminished and we are excited to bring them two new films full of heart, hope and faith.”
