Class 10 Topper, Prachi Nigam SHUTS DOWN Trolls Who Shame Her for Her Facial Hair: ‘What Matters is My Brands’

Prachi Nigam, who hails from small village Sitapur in Uttar Pradesh, secured first place in the Class 10 board examination. While it was a moment of celebration for the young girl, things took an ugly turn when people on social media started bashing her for her facial hair. We live in the modern world where everyone has an opinion, but people forget that criticizing someone because of their appearance is the worst thing, especially a teenager whose ultimate job is studying. However, Prachi Nigam encouraged many when she silenced the trollers with her reply.

Prachi Nigam reacted for the first time to the trollers who made fun of her facial hair

For those who don’t know, Prachi scored 98.5 percent in the UP Class 10 exam. A percentage we can all only dream of. However, people didn’t mince words while trolling her for her looks. In an interview with IANS, Prachi expressed similar sentiments for the first time and showed immense positivity despite the trollers’ harsh words. Prachi said:

“Trollers can live with their mindset, I’m glad my success is now my identity.”

Continuing the interview, Prachi explained that she was always focused on her studies and no one from her family, friends or teachers ever pointed out her facial hair as she was always focused on her studies. However, things changed when a picture of her was released after the result and people started bashing her. She noted:

“My family, my teachers, my friends never criticized me for my looks and I never cared about it. It was only when my photo was published after the results that people started trolling me and then I became aware of the issue.”

While returning it to the trollers, Prachi clearly stated that her goal is to become an engineer. At the end of the day, it’s their marks that count and remain important, not the hair on their face. She was quoted as saying:

“My goal is to become an engineer and what ultimately matters is my grades and not the hairs on my face.”

While many made fun of Prachi Nigam, there were many who supported her and asked people for compassion as she was just a young girl. We would like to inform you that facial hair is a hormonal problem that is common in children between the ages of 8 and 16 years. However, as a society and as a responsible media, we should not make it an issue and discourage people from trying to create a future for themselves. The beauty will disappear, but the achievements will remain.

We liked the way Prachi Nigam avoided all the people who tried to make fun of her when she was young.
