Meghan Markle surprised fans when she made her return to Instagram earlier this year, promoting her new entrepreneurial venture, American Riviera Orchard – an artisan jam preserves brand. As it turns out, her new song already has some famous fans.
Chrissy Teigen And John Legend recently walked the red carpet the premiere of the new Netflix series A man of perfection — took place Wednesday at the TUDUM Theater in Los Angeles ahead of the show’s premiere on May 2 — and the couple spoke to ET’s Cassie DiLaura about the delicious jams.
Teigen took to Instagram on Wednesday morning to show off the jam — which was sent to her and several other celebs as Markle works to build the brand — and to share a video of it themselves and their children Make sandwiches with bacon, brie and jam.
“The sandwich was amazing. One of the best bites I’ve had in a long time,” Legend marveled, thinking about the quick breakfast dish. “I want that exact sandwich again.”
“It was pretty epic,” Teigen added.
The cookbook author and model explained that when she occasionally receives handmade ingredients or food, she finds it difficult to actually cook with it.
“You don’t want to use it because I don’t want to lose it,” Teigen said. “Now I feel like we made the sandwich and now I’m going to keep it.” [the jam] forever in my fridge.
While Teigen and Legend said they had no chance of going on a “double date” with Markle and her husband, Prince HarryTeigen recalled that she and Markle have some kind of past connection when it comes to their acting careers.
“I was on Deal or no deal “A long time ago,” Teigen said as Legend explained that they were “both.” Deal or no deal Alumni.”
While Markle was one of the game show’s briefcase models for the show’s first two seasons, Teigen said her own time on the series was much shorter.
“I didn’t really make it – I wasn’t one of them.” [briefcase] girls for more than two episodes,” Teigen recalled. “Because I couldn’t do choreography or anything like that.” So they demoted me to banker.
However, the two appeared together in a few episodes of the second season.
The Duchess of Sussex has opened the official IG account for American Riviera Orchard already in March. Meghan appeared in a short video shared on the account’s Instagram story, where she was in a kitchen and a garden. At the time, there was no indication as to what the company’s main product would be.
This marked Meghan’s first official return to social media since 2020 – when she and Harry closed their joint Instagram and Twitter accounts for their brand Sussex Royal after stepping back from royal duties.
