Air Fryer Carrots

Lately I’ve been loving how easy it is to cook vegetables in the air fryer. Simply prepare, season and air fry. It’s almost too easy. And carrots are a great, inexpensive vegetable to cook with at any time of year. Plus, they last a long time in the fridge… WIN! We have many roasted carrot recipes on our website, but these air fryer carrots are my new favorite. Seasoned with a savory and herbal spice blend, they’re the perfect addition to any weeknight dinner.

Here’s everything you need to make these easy air fryer carrots:

  • Carrots: Look for whole carrots that are fairly uniform in length and girth so they cook more evenly. You can either scrub or peel the carrots, but I prefer peeling them.
  • Olive oil and butter: I used both olive oil and butter in this recipe to keep the carrots moist and to combine them with the spice mix. And I just love the flavor you get from using butter and olive oil.
  • Spice: A simple seasoning blend of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried dill is all you need. And I decided to double the amount of dill by adding some fresh dill at the end for garnish. Of course, you can leave out the dill if you prefer, but it gives the carrots a nice, tangy and tangy flavor. If you want some variety, I’ll show you a few more seasoning options below.

Can you air fry baby carrots?

To make this recipe Excellent Quite simply, you can also use baby carrots instead of peeling and slicing whole carrots. Simply use the same spice mix for one pound of baby carrots and adjust the cooking time. Air fry baby carrots at 370°F for about 8-10 minutes or until tender to your liking.

I used a mixture of salt, pepper, garlic powder, and dried dill for these carrots, but there are so many flavors and spices to choose from. Here are some more seasoning ideas for your air fryer carrots:
