Ram has introduced two new off-road trucks, including a 10th anniversary Rebel edition

Off-road-oriented trucks are big business and Ram is looking for a bigger piece of the pie. As a result, they introduced not only the 1500 RHO but also the new Warlock and Rebel X.
Starting with the Ram 1500 Warlock, it’s the brand’s entry-level off-road pickup, with pricing starting at $54,260 before a $1,995 destination charge. This puts it between Big Horn and Laramie.

Considering it costs nearly $10,000 less than the Ram 1500 Rebel, it’s no surprise that the truck has an understated design. However, the Warlock has a black grille with a matching “RAM” emblem. There are also black 18-inch wheels and powder-coated bumpers.
The highlights are rounded off by LED headlights, trailer hitches and a dual exhaust system with black tailpipes. Customers can also get Warlock decals for the hood and bed.
Ram 1500 Warlock
Inside, the driver can expect a 7-inch cluster display and an 8.4-inch infotainment system. The truck also features a leather steering wheel, black cloth seats and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. There are also LED bed lighting, second-row storage in the floor and a remote start system. Other highlights include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning and blind spot detection.
The improvements go beyond design and features, as the Warlock features Bilstein shock absorbers and a 1-inch (25 mm) lift kit. The model also has underrun protection and an electronic rear axle differential lock.
Customers looking for something more unique can opt for the Ram 1500 Rebel X. It is based on the standard model and celebrates its 10th anniversaryTh Anniversary of the off-road trim.
The special edition is equipped with the Rebel Level 2 Equipment Group, which includes a power liftgate, a dual-pane sunroof and a 14.5-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment system. Other highlights include a heated steering wheel, heated front and rear seats, and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system.
In addition to additional equipment, the Rebel has a cruise control system aimed at off-road use, and Ram said it “reads the terrain in front of the truck hundreds of times per second to adjust.” [the] Add or remove suspension and weight on the steering wheel.”
Buyers will also find a console-mounted shifter and leather front seats with X logos and red accents. There is also an emblem on the center console that marks the decade of the Rebel. If that’s not special enough for you, customers can secure an exclusive Mojave Sand paint job.
Ram 1500 Rebel X
When it’s time to venture off the beaten path, you’ll enjoy a 1-inch (25mm) lift kit, a softer rear sway bar, and Bilstein shocks. The model also rides on 17-inch wheels wrapped in 33-inch all-terrain tires.
Power comes from a 3.0-liter twin-turbocharged inline-six producing 420 hp (313 kW / 426 PS) and 469 lb-ft (635 Nm) of torque. It is mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission and a standard all-wheel drive system.
Ram didn’t disclose the price, but the standard 1500 Rebel starts at $64,195, plus a $1,995 destination charge.
