Off-road-oriented trucks are big business and Ram is looking for a bigger piece of the pie. As a result, they introduced not only the 1500 RHO but also the new Warlock and Rebel X.

Starting with the Ram 1500 Warlock, it’s the brand’s entry-level off-road pickup, with pricing starting at $54,260 before a $1,995 destination charge. This puts it between Big Horn and Laramie.

Considering it costs nearly $10,000 less than the Ram 1500 Rebel, it’s no surprise that the truck has an understated design. However, the Warlock has a black grille with a matching “RAM” emblem. There are also black 18-inch wheels and powder-coated bumpers.

The highlights are rounded off by LED headlights, trailer hitches and a dual exhaust system with black tailpipes. Customers can also get Warlock decals for the hood and bed.

Inside, the driver can expect a 7-inch cluster display and an 8.4-inch infotainment system. The truck also features a leather steering wheel, black cloth seats and an auto-dimming rearview mirror. The special edition is equipped with the Rebel Level 2 Equipment Group, which includes a power liftgate, a dual-pane sunroof and a 14.5-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment system. Other highlights include a heated steering wheel, heated front and rear seats, and a 19-speaker Harman Kardon premium audio system.

Ram didn’t disclose the price, but the standard 1500 Rebel starts at $64,195, plus a $1,995 destination charge.
