2024 GWM Haval H6 Price and Specifications

GWM offers sharper drive-away prices in all areas Friend H6 Mid-size SUV range.

The Chinese brand is offering savings of between $1,000 and $2,000 across the entire range through June 30, 2024.

Gasoline-powered models see the biggest savings, with the Lux Hybrid’s price reduced by $1,500 and the flagship Ultra Hybrid’s price reduced by $1,000.

Specifications for the Haval H6 remain unchanged, with a next-generation model expected in either late 2024 or early 2025. And this despite the fact that the current model only came onto the market in Australia in 2021.

In the first quarter of 2024, GWM sold 2,203 Haval H6s and 888 of its coupe SUV sibling H6 GT in Australia, up 6.9 percent and 2.0 percent, respectively, compared to the same period in 2023.

Even excluding the related Haval H6 GT, the Haval H6 managed to outperform the Honda CR-V (1920 sales) and the Volkswagen Tiguan (1215 sales), although still behind the likes of the Subaru Forester (3583 sales). and the Hyundai Tucson (4685 sales) as well as even more popular Japanese and Korean models.

Powertrains

The 2024 GWM Haval H6 is available with two drive variants.

Gasoline models use a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine to produce 150kW of power and 320 Nm Torque.

This is available with front-wheel drive or, only on the Ultra, with all-wheel drive. The only transmission is a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Hybrid models feature a 1.5 liter four-cylinder engine with 110 kW and 230 Nm, paired with a 130 kW/300 Nm electric motor and the special hybrid transmission from GWM, for a total system performance of 179kW And 530 Nm.

They are only available with front-wheel drive.

Efficiency

The 2024 GWM Haval H6 used 7.4L/100km on the combined cycle as a front-wheel drive petrol engine, 8.3L/100km with all-wheel drive and 5.2L/100km as a hybrid.

All models run on regular unleaded fuel with 91 RON. All models have a 61 liter fuel tank, except the Ultra AWD which has a 60 liter tank.

Dimensions

The 2024 GWM Haval H6 is 4653 mm long, 1886 mm wide and 1724 mm high with a wheelbase of 2738 mm.

The curb weight ranges from 1550 kg for the premium petrol engine to 1690 kg for the Ultra Hybrid.

The GWM Haval H6 has 600 liters of trunk volume, which can be expanded to 1,485 liters with the rear seats folded down.

Gasoline-powered models have a space-saving spare tire, while hybrid models only have a tire repair kit under the trunk floor.

The braked towing capacity is 1,500 kg for the hybrid models and 2,000 kg for the petrol models, with the unbraked towing capacity being 750 kg for all models.

Maintenance and warranty

The GWM Haval H6 comes with a seven-year, unlimited mileage vehicle warranty, while the hybrid models’ battery packs are covered by an eight-year, unlimited mileage warranty.

Servicing is required every 12 months or 15,000km and GWM offers top-price servicing for five years.
