Youth Sitting on Moving Audi Roof Fined Rs. 31,000 [Video]

The public road is not a place for stunts as it involves several risks. Recently, many people have been performing such stunts on the go for social media videos and advertisements. Many of them got in trouble with the police for such stunts. Here we have one such case from Noida, Uttar Pradesh, where a youth was seen sitting on the roof of a moving Audi luxury sedan on the road. The video was shared with the police and the agency took action against the men, fining them Rs 31,000.

The video was shared by Tricity Today on their Twitter profile. In this video, we see an Audi A4 sedan driving on an elevated road in Noida. We see a person sitting on the roof from the sunroof of the limousine and enjoying the wind in his hair. It’s obvious that this stunt was just done for a social media video.

He is seen looking at the camera a few times and posing for it. His friends, who were following him in another car, recorded this video. From the angle this video was taken from, it looks like his friend who took the video was also on the roof. However, we don’t see any video that proves the same.

The person posted this video on his social media profile and it went viral almost immediately. Some users copied or downloaded the same video from Instagram and shared it with Noida Traffic Police. The relevant department took note of the perpetrators and took action after analyzing the video. In the video, two Audi cars can be seen performing similar stunts. One of them has its license plate covered, while the other car’s license plate is visible. Officials have currently imposed a fine on the Audi, whose license plate was visible.

Teenager sits out of the sunroof

The Noida Traffic Police found as many as seven violations in this case and imposed a fine of Rs 31,000 for the violations. These included dangerous driving, changing lanes without proper notice, tinted glass, not wearing a seat belt, recording a video without prior authorization from authorities, and more.

The comments section under this video shows people justifying the act. One of the users said the sunroof was meant to stand out and that it wasn’t a trick. He also requested Tricity Today not to harass the police as they are busy with festivals.

Should sunroofs be noticeable?

The answer is simply no. Many people still don’t know how to use the sunroof properly and therefore often find themselves standing in front of it. Leaving the windows open while driving at high speeds can cause air to flow directly into your eyes, potentially causing problems. On the other hand, sunroofs are designed to allow air to circulate within the vehicle without significant wind disturbances. If you stand out of the sunroof in a moving car, you risk falling out of the car if the driver brakes sharply.
