Travis Kelce is slowly becoming sentimental. The Kansas City Chiefs tight end shared a collection of heartwarming throwback videos from his childhood with his older brother, the Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelcein honor of National Siblings Day on April 10th.
“Had to say HAPPY SIBLINGS DAY to my husband who loves made up holidays more than anyone else!! ❤️🫶🏻 wish,” Kelce captioned the TikTok post, poking fun at Jason’s vocal disdain for fancy holidays.
The video montage is based on the song “Family” by Kygo and The Chainsmokers and includes clips of Travis, 34, and Jason, 36, having some fun adventures as kids. They play soccer, swim laps, show off their dance moves and even ride a real camel. At one point, young Jason dons a full Batman suit before Travis cuts to a more recent video of the legendary center rocking his “Fat Batman” outfit during an Eagles game. It also features some highlights of their NFL careers, including meeting on the field in 2023 after becoming the the first brothers to ever face each other in a Super Bowl game.
The video montage begins with an image of baby Jason sitting on the floor in a onesie. Fans were quick to point out the striking resemblance he shares with his eldest daughter, Wyatt.
Today, the brothers show off their sibling bond in weekly episodes of their podcast. New heights. The show’s title is a reference to her hometown of Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
Travis is currently enjoying a busy offseason in the NFL. supposedly filmed a celebrity-centric reboot of the reality series Are you smarter than a fifth grader? titled Are you smarter than a celebrity? in Los Angeles. This after that win the Super Bowl with his chiefs in February and supportive girlfriend Taylor Swift on several of her international Eras tour dates and traveled there with the singer The Bahamas. He is also preparing for his sophomore year Kelce Jam Music festival next month in Kansas City.
“This will be a lot of fun. You know I’m ready to turn off the power,” he said recently told ETbefore teasing what else fans can expect from the May 18 event, which includes performances from Lil Wayne, Diplo and 2 Chainz.
“This year is going to be an absolute blast,” he said. “…We make sure it’s fun, we make sure it stays light-hearted. We’ve got some new things coming up in terms of entertainment, maybe a drone show or something like that. It’s going to be extremely exciting.”
Jason announced his retirement from the NFL last month with a moving speech. Travis was front and center during the press conference, wiping tears from his eyes while sitting next to the duo’s parents – Ed Kelce And Donna Kelce — and Jason’s wife, Kylie Kelce.
The couple is married since 2018 and are celebrating their fifth wedding anniversary on Sunday. They have three children together: daughters Wyatt (4), Elliotte (3) and Bennett (1).
It wasn’t just National Siblings Day to celebrate on Wednesday. Previously, the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences announced that Jason’s Prime Video documentaries, Kelce, was nominated for two Sports Emmy Awards for Outstanding Long Form Documentary and Outstanding Editing – Long Form.
According to Prime Video, the recently retired Philadelphia Eagles star “began documenting what he believes will be his final year in the NFL. Instead, the film captures the most epic year in Jason and Travis’ lives, from launching a hit podcast together, Jason’s wife Kylie being pregnant with their third child, and finally meeting at the Super Bowl, while Jason struggles with the decision to retire .
