Travis Kelce enjoyed a hilarious trip down memory lane on Wednesday when he visited his girlfriend again Taylor Swiftis the iconic sequence of Punk’d with series writer and star Andrew Santino on his New heights Podcast.
The topic came up in the “No Stupid Questions” section New heightsin which Travis and his older brother and co-host Jason Kelce, answering social media questions from fans. This week, a fan wondered if Travis and Andrew ever talked about the 2012 part with Taylor. Justin Biebera wedding and fireworks.
“I saw this because I was watching Punk’dTravis said, while Jason admitted he had no idea about the episode.
The Ricky Stanicky The actor, who served as a writer and actor in the series, played the role of a groom whose wedding fell apart when Taylor accidentally set off fireworks at the boat on which his wedding was taking place off the coast of Malibu.
“By the way, my favorite part about it is when that clip resurfaced, people were like, ‘That’s so mean! That’s crazy!’ It’s like this is fake. We’re not – you know what I mean?” Andrew said on the podcast. “It’s like, Jesus, relax.”
He then recapitulated the show with some additional behind-the-scenes insight.
“Taylor got a call from Justin and said, ‘Come to this new recording studio.’ And she came to the beach in Malibu to check out his new studio and hang out,” Andrew recalls. “[Justin] was like, ‘I have these fireworks from Japan.’ Let’s set them off.’ And Taylor, obviously to her credit for always getting to the point, was like, ‘I don’t know if I want to do this.'”
Andrew said he had prepared in advance for Taylor to oppose the proposal.
“I said, ‘If she doesn’t want to do it, we have to make it so that it’s like a button or something where it’s like a coincidence, just, like, ‘Did you press that?’ or whatever,” he shared. “And they put up a rig, a fake rig, with buttons on it. And she touched one, fooling around a bit, and it set off fireworks, and we had it tied to a line to throw it in the direction of that boat.
Travis giggles throughout the story and adds, “This is so good.”
The drama escalated further when Andrew, dressed as a groom, came ashore in a dinghy and his fellow actors played a priest and a bride.
“We blamed her for ruining our wedding,” Santino said.
“That’s great,” Jason marveled, while Travis repeated with a laugh, “You have to see that.”
“You could ask her for the truth, but she bought it,” Andrew told Travis. “I know she bought it because it was messy. I mean, the boat was on fire, but it was all done professionally.”
The bride then confessed to Taylor that the incident could have been an act of divine intervention, saying: “Maybe this is a sign that I shouldn’t marry him.”
An alarmed Taylor replied: “No, I don’t think that’s right. I don’t know if that’s right,” Andrew recalled.
The story gave Travis an even bigger fit of giggles.
“I’ll have to ask Tay about it,” he laughed. “Oh man. I completely forgot about that.”
Andrew marveled that it was “a perfect part that worked” and urged Travis to mention it to Taylor again.
“Yeah, I’ll have to see if she wanted to sell it or not,” Travis said. “I don’t know it. When I saw it, I bought it.”

A source told ET on Monday“Travis is so supportive of the entire album and loves that he is a part of Taylor’s story. He’s a Swiftie through and through and very proud of her.”
As their Eras tour continues in the UK and Europe next month, Travis recently told ET that he’ll be there with bells.
“There won’t be a bad show, I promise you,” he said. “You know I have to go for support.”
But first, Travis will host his second annual Kelce Jam on May 18 in Kansas City.
