Travis Kelce Gives Jason a Unique Anniversary Gift Idea for His Wife Kylie

Jason Kelce is a man on a mission who races against time to deliver a unique anniversary gift to his wife, Kylie Kelce.

The Philadelphia Eagles legend got a good tip from his brother and New heights Podcast co-host, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, while pre-recording Wednesday’s episode of their show. As the two discuss their gift-giving gifts (or Jason’s apparent lack thereof), Jason admits that he hasn’t thought of a gift for Kylie after the celebration sixth wedding anniversary last month.

“I owe Kylie an anniversary present, I’m not going to lie. I’m almost a month behind,” Jason tells Travis during Wednesday’s podcast. “We did that Cincinnati Live Show and it distracted me. I have to come out with something big.

Travis says, “I have faith in you.” Then he is shocked to learn of the long tradition of giving themed gifts for each year of marriage.

For the sixth anniversary, the traditional gift is a gift made of iron.

With increasing excitement, Travis declares, “If you gotta get her some iron, get her a sword, man! Make her a sword, Jason!”

Jason balks at first, saying, “I don’t think she would be interested.”

Travis fires back: “It’s the thought, isn’t it? Everybody is saying it. Something is better than nothing.”

Jason thinks about it and replies, “That’s a good point. A sword is definitely better than what I currently bought for her.”

The making of swords is a recurring topic of conversation New heights over the past few months, with the brothers discussing their ongoing intention to learn the craft together over several episodes. So far they don’t seem to have implemented their plan.

Jason and Travis start giggling as they speculate about how Kylie would react to the gift.

“Do you want me to stab you with this, Jason?” Travis imagines her asking.

“If she ever wants to break the covenant we made with the Lord, she can use her sword,” Jason replies.

“It’s beautiful, it’s poetry,” Travis laughs.

“It’s very symbolic,” Jason adds, as the wheels in his head begin to spin faster and faster.

“Now I have to get it to Kylie before this episode airs on Wednesday,” he says. “I need to move quickly with this sword.”

At the end of the episode, Jason returns to the topic by sharing a text message he sent with his assistant.

“I just asked my assistant, ‘Can we find a sword from a blacksmith that we can give to Kylie for our anniversary, that we can engrave our wedding anniversary on, and have it here by Wednesday?'” he says, explaining that his assistant “s* doesn’t *happen.”

“She loves challenges like this,” he says of his colleague. “She lives for me to ask for something like that, and I never do.”

The episode ends with Jason’s assistant replying, “Let me work on it.”

There’s no word yet on how it all unfolded, as neither Jason nor Kylie spoke about it on their social media accounts at the time the podcast episode was released.

The couple met on Tinder in 2014 and tied the knot four years later. They now share daughters Wyatt, 4, Elliotte, 3, and Bennett, 1.

In his deeply heartfelt farewell speech Earlier this year, Jason tearfully expressed his love for Kylie.

“I think it’s no coincidence that I spent the best years of my career with Kylie by my side. Every award I have ever received, I have received it with her in my life,” he shared. “She brought out the best in me through love, dedication, support, honesty, intelligence and of course the occasional quick kick in the ass.”

Since announcing the end of his NFL career, there has been speculation about where Jason’s career will take him next.

Wednesdays New heightshe addresses current reports that he intends to join ESPN as a broadcaster.

“Nothing has been officially signed or announced yet, but obviously there has been a lot.” Reports “There are a lot of people talking about me going to ESPN,” Jason says. “I think time will sort it out somewhat, but it’s a great honor to even be considered for possibly working there.” That network was everything Travis and I saw growing up.

He continues: “Before telephones, that was the only way to get comprehensive coverage and we sat in front of the TV every day. So the fact that I might, possibly, probably work there is pretty damn cool.”
