CALGARY, Alberta, April 24, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — The Board of Directors of TransAlta Corporation (TSX: TA) (NYSE: TAC) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.06 per common share to be paid on July 1, 2024 Payable to shareholders of record is at the close of business on June 1, 2024.

The Board has also declared the following quarterly dividend on its First Preferred Shares with cumulative redeemable interest reset for the period from March 31, 2024 (inclusive) to June 30, 2024 (exclusive):
