Virat Kohli (42) and Faf du Plessis (64) came out in full force and gave Royal Challengers Bengaluru a flying start. They added 92 runs for the opening stand in the powerplay. It seemed like they would end the game quickly.

However, they lost six quick wickets after that and were under pressure. They were reeling at 117/6 with Josh Little and Noor Ahmed picking the wickets. But Dinesh Karthik (21*) and Swapnil Singh (15*) held their nerve and took their team home with four wickets.
