CHENGDU, China, April 25, 2024 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Between April 27 and May 5, badminton enthusiasts around the world will turn their eyes to the Chinese city of Chengdu, home to one of the world’s most prestigious badminton team competitions – the TotalEnergies BWF Thomas & Uber Cup Final 2024. This event is scheduled to take place at the Chengdu High-tech Zone Sports Center Gymnasium.

According to the competition’s organizing committee, this is the first time that western China will host the world’s top badminton event. During the Thomas & Uber Cup, 32 teams from 20 nations and regions will come to Chengdu to compete for the coveted trophy.
