The construction of the overlanding rig was documented by Instagrammer Connor, who reportedly sold his house last year before putting all his money into the six-figure luxury SUV. First, a storage area was built into the rear of the car, with a pull-out section protruding from the back of the trunk with built-in fridge and freezer, a working sink and a work surface. There are also plans to add a grill to the rear of the truck to make cooking on the go a little easier.
A roof rack was also installed the tip of Uruswhich has space for storing spare tires, tire ladders for when things get busier, and a few dry storage boxes to keep extra gear up there.
When it comes to sleeping space, half of the Urus’s rear seats were folded into a single bed for sleeping. On the other side of the passenger compartment there are now all sorts of cupboards and storage boxes for the essentials on the go. It looks reasonably comfortable, but the sleeping pad designed for sleeping looks pretty out of place surrounded by the pristine leather of the Lamborghini’s interior.
Other updates to the truck include some auxiliary lights at the front and rear to improve visibility, and there is that too plans to add skid plates to protect the underside of the car. According to a recent Camperghini update, the Urus Overlander will soon also receive new bespoke front and rear bumpers as well as other new lighting elements.
So far on his journey around the world, which has reached Camperghini Europe and the latest video update has been released in the UK. The car will soon tour Europe before heading to Africa and Asia.
