Michelle Lally contacted Kristen Doute – despite her problems – to express her regret over a comment she made in The Valley.
During an exclusive interview with Us weeklyMichelle, 36, responded to a confessional in which she said Kristen, 41, shouldn’t have children.
“When I was watching one of the episodes, I had a very rude comment about her in my interview tidbits and [boyfriend Luke Broderick] don’t have a child. “I don’t remember the exact words I used, but when I watched it again I actually felt really bad and terrible,” Michelle admitted Us. “Because that’s not even me.”
Michelle “didn’t remember saying the comment” until the episode aired, adding: “But I was so angry again. I’m not trying to say it was right, it was completely wrong.”
Although Michelle didn’t speak, she apologized.
“Even though I hadn’t spoken to her at all, I actually called her that night because I wanted to apologize and say that I didn’t mean that comment,” she noted. “I should never have said something like that. Unfortunately she didn’t answer my call or call me back. But I made an effort to apologize.”
Kristen, 41, and Luke, 32, continued to speak The valley her attempts to have a child. After filming wrapped on the first season, Kristen revealed on the couple’s Balanced Act podcast that she had a miscarriage. In addition to her relationship with Luke, Kristen’s feuds with several co-stars were heavily featured on the series.
Kristen primarily received backlash for spreading rumors she heard from others. She specifically claimed that Michelle had an “emotional affair” with a “secret boyfriend” while she was still married Jesse Lally. (The couple called it quits and filed for divorce after production The valley completed.)
Michelle has since confirmed that she was unaware of how many claims were made on screen. The real estate agent called it “weird” since she considered Kristen a friend Us“I felt very under attack and it was just one thing after another. You’ll see that it never really ends.”
Because of Kristen’s behavior towards her, Michelle doesn’t see a “way forward” for her, saying, “There’s just so many things happening to me. It’s just hard to see a future. I don’t know. But we are still a long way from that.”
Michelle also commented on the revelation Jax Taylor began speculation about their marriage. In an episode of the series in April, viewers saw him question Michelle’s friendship with an unnamed director. Footage later showed that Jax, 44, was the one who informed Kristen that Michelle had allegedly been texting another man.
“It’s probably a combination of both. “I really don’t know exactly how it all started,” Michelle said Us. “When I watched this yesterday, it was the first time I heard or saw that part. I’m a little thrown off by this. My marriage is not a game. We have a child and it’s hard to watch.”
After Jax claimed on the show that he had heard information from Brittany CartwrightMichelle gave an update on their friendship.
“I sent [Brittany] this message – this clip immediately. She said she would like to clear this up because she has never said anything like that before,” Michelle noted. “She was surprised too. We were both very surprised by this scene.”
The valley airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo and is available to stream the next day on Peacock.
