Steam is gearing up for a stunning first-person shooter sale starting April 15th. The week-long Steam FPS Fest offers discounts on games across all FPS genres, from squad-based tactical shooters to solo adventures.
What’s on offer at Steam FPS Fest 2024?
We have selected the top titles that are on sale from these many genres. One of the featured offerings is the legendary 2021 remaster of the cult classic Crysis 3. The FPS adventure is an excellent deep dive into technology-based stealth combat.
- The recently released Robocop: Rogue City (it came out in November) is the gaming incarnation of Paul Verhoeven’s 1987 dystopian android revenge film. Earlier this year, an executive at the game’s publisher, Nacon, said that AAA games in the FPS -Dominating the genre left little opportunity for smaller studios to be successful in this core genre. So this is a chance to purchase the well-received title at a cheaper price.
- “Verdun” and “Hell Let Loose” travel back to the time of trench warfare and the devastated areas of northern France during the First World War. These shooters have all the gritty grayscale grain and vintage weaponry you’d expect from a World War I adaptation.
- For those riding the wave of 90s nostalgia, games like ULTRAKILL, System Shock and Ravenfield are for you.

There’s a handy countdown clock on the Steam sales page that lets players know how long they have to wait before they can grab the discounted titles. Current offerings on Steam are also listed, with Vampire Survivors topping the list with a player rating of 97.
The roguelike game has had a busy 2024 and will launch on PlayStation this summer. On May 9th it will also bring a crossover DLC with the heroes from Konami’s Contra.
Last month, a number of classic games that had never been for sale on Steam finally made their way to the Steam Marketplace. Late bloomers include popular favorites like Populous and the Red Faction series.
