The Best Portable IPhone Chargers in 2024

We’ve tested several power banks designed specifically for iPhones, AirPods, and Apple Watch and these are our favorites. Some of these we recommend just for their portable form factor, others for their performance. But these are great solutions for under $100 to replenish your Apple tech.

Satechi Quatro wireless power bank

This power bank can wirelessly charge an Apple Watch, another Qi-compatible device, and two devices connected to USB ports at the same time. The good thing about this is that it’s a more convenient alternative to lugging around a rat’s nest of charging cables and wall warts when traveling, as you can charge multiple devices without having to find a power outlet. However, at $100 it’s not an economical choice as you can get similar 10,000mAh power banks for much cheaper than the Quatro. Also, the smartwatch charger only works with Apple Watch, so it won’t be of much use to you if you need to charge non-Apple devices. However, if you’re completely caught up in the Apple ecosystem, the Satechi Quatro is a great all-in-one solution for all your Cupertino tech. Read more—Andrew Liszewski

Satechi Duo Wireless Charger Power Stand

I found the Satechi Duo Wireless Charger to be full of functionality. It offers a nice stand to dock your phone vertically while charging. This unique design is convenient for hands-free video calls or attending meetings. The stand is also fully adjustable so you can decide at what angle you want to use it. While it supports your phone on its stand, it accommodates your AirPods and Apple Watch on its base. With a total of 10,000 mAh, the Satechi Duo offers 10W fast charging power for all three devices at the same time.

Even at just 50% charge, it was able to fully charge my iPhone 12 Pro Max and Moto Razr+ and still had enough juice left.

Belkin BoostCharge Power Bank 20K

The Belkin BoostCharge power bank is a solid device that charges multiple devices at the same time. This isn’t one of those small, unobtrusive portable batteries you can put in your jeans pocket. It’s an outrageously large and powerful power bank with a total output of 15W that can power up to three devices. It offers two 12W and one 15W ports, and as the name suggests, you get 20,000mAh with the BoostCharge.

I was able to wirelessly charge my iPhone 12 Pro Max from 23% to 100% in about 20 minutes, which is pretty impressive and consistent with the company’s claims of charging an iPhone 15 Pro in 35 minutes. I charged my iPad with this power bank using a Type-C cable, but it was much slower. My iPad Pro was fully charged from 17% in about two hours.

Anker PowerCore Magnetic 5K Portable Wireless Charger

Anker’s PowerCore Magnetic 5K is a portable wireless charger with a 5,000mAh battery that attaches to the back of any iPhone 12 model using magnets. It’s also the smallest portable wireless charger we’ve tested to date. If you’re spending more than a grand on the latest iPhone at $40, the PowerCore Magnetic 5K is a no-brainer accessory. Even if Apple releases a thinner MagSafe charging solution that offers faster charging times and a sleeker design, it will undoubtedly be significantly more expensive than what Anker already offers.
