Taylor Swift’s “Thank You AIMee” is the “final Word” for Kim Kardashian

Expect “thanK you aIMee” to be the last we hear about Taylor Swift about her feud with Kim Kardashian.

“Taylor has moved on and isn’t looking back,” a source tells us exclusively Us weekly by Swift, 34. “The song is her last word.”

The insider adds that Swift “hasn’t heard” from Kardashian, 43, about the track that appears on Swift’s new album. The Tortured Poets Department.

Swift wasn’t exactly subtle when she wrote the title, capitalizing the letters K, I and M in the title.

Ostensibly, “thanK you aIMee” references her long-standing feud with Kardashian and tells the story of someone dealing with a bully who “threatened to push me down the stairs” and “wrote headlines in the local paper / about every little one.” I laughed at the step I took.”

Although Swift and Kardashian were previously friends, the two began feuding over remarks in 2016 when Kardashian said that Swift had “totally approved” of a text in her then-husband’s post Kanye WestThe song “Famous” says he “made that bitch famous.”

Swift later explained to TIME the psychological toll the feud took on her.

“You have a completely fabricated lie in the form of an illegally recorded phone conversation that Kim Kardashian edited and then released to tell everyone I was a liar,” she said. “It took me to a place mentally that I had never been before. I moved to a foreign country. I didn’t leave a rented house for a year. I was afraid to answer the phone. I pushed away most of the people in my life because I no longer trusted anyone. I went down really, really hard.”

But if “Thanks, AIMee” is to be taken at face value, Swift emerged from the feud a stronger person.

“I built a legacy that can’t be undone,” Swift sings. “But when I count the scars, there’s a moment of truth / That if it weren’t for you, this wouldn’t exist.”

She changes the chorus in the final verse from “f–k you, Aimee” to “Thank you, Aimee” and sings, “And our town looks so small from up here / screamed ‘Thank you, Aimee’ to the night sky.” / And the stars are breathtaking / For I cannot forget how you healed me.”
