Rendon Dietzmann, the motorcyclist behind the YouTube channel Gixxer Brah, was sentenced to two weeks in jail and fined nearly $2,300 after pleading guilty to speeding.

Dietzmann’s case began after he posted a personal video of himself riding his motorcycle from Colorado Springs to Denver in just 20 minutes – about a third as long as the trip at normal speeds. In the video, the driver’s speedometer shows speeds exceeding 173 mph (278 km/h) as he weaves through slower traffic.

Colorado police said they were contacted by “numerous drivers and online viewers” to report the driver behind the YouTube channel Gixxer Brah, Westworld reports. Authorities linked the broadcaster to Dietzmann and eventually found him in Texas.

Dietzmann was extradited to Colorado police in February. The driver was charged with making threats, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, speeding 40 miles per hour, participating in a speed demonstration, participating in a speed contest and driving a vehicle without license plates, but he ultimately reached a deal with the prosecutor’s office and pleaded guilty , just to have sped up the exhibition.

On April 23, a Colorado court sentenced Dietzmann to 14 days in jail and a $300 fine. He must also reimburse state taxpayers the $1,996.08 it cost to extradite him from Texas. Additionally, the driver will receive 12 points on their license, meaning they will not be allowed to drive in Colorado for up to a year.

However, it will probably be too difficult for Dietzmann to pay the fine. The driver sold T-shirts with his mugshot on his website and is now offering a T-shirt with the slogan “Colorado’s Most Wanted.” The YouTube channel Gixxer Brah has also gained 25,000 new subscribers since this saga began.

Although an attorney apologized to the court and the people of Colorado on Dietzmann’s behalf, the driver said nothing during his hearing. After entering his plea, Dietzmann was asked what made him guilty, but only said, “uh,” before his attorney, Levi Price, stepped in and said, “Mr. Dietzmann was driving a motorcycle at extreme speeds on I-25.”
