Stacey BendetThe New York City apartment perfectly reflects her colorful Alice + Olivia brand.
TikTok user Caleb Simpson, who regularly tours celebrities’ homes, asked Bendet, 45, to show off her not-so-humble home on Monday, April 29. “I rollerblade here,” said the designer as she entered her busy home. This is 6,800 square feet and is located on the Upper West Side Architectural Digest.
Bendet’s living room features rugs from the Ritz Carlton in Madrid, a forest green U-shaped sofa, a rainbow chandelier — which retails for $36,000 — gold-framed paintings and an ornate ceiling. According to Bendet, the space was “subtle.”
Bendet went into her dining area and showed her friend a tiled table Lola Schnabel hand painted, along with pastel chairs and pink, blue, green and yellow porcelain plates.
“Isn’t this fun?!” Bendet exclaimed as she entered her children’s playroom, which was painted to look like the inside of a circus tent. (The designer and her husband have daughters Eloise (16), Scarlet (13) and Athenea (3). Eric Eisner.)
Bendet then took Simpson into her “minimalist” bathroom, which features a black-and-white chevron floor, red-printed wallpaper, and a glass chandelier. “I really prefer a minimalist vibe when I’m working on things,” she said, while Simpson joked that the space was “overstimulating” for him.

Next, she showcased her kitchen with different colored tiles, gray cabinets, and red trim. She also joked that she has two refrigerators, one for “healthy” foods and the other for “junk.”
Bendet’s bedroom features a colorful carpet, sky blue painted walls, a tapestry ceiling and an elaborate chandelier. Her bathroom features a kimono that she turned into a curtain, black and white striped walls, and a vanity.
Her walk-in closet is painted mint green and decorated with rainbow garnets hanging on racks.
Her children’s rooms are just as lively and colorful.
